Yes and no. It also keeps Trump in the drivers seat to finish the lawsuits without interference.

It’s the only out Biden and the Deep State have right now. Rather than being destroyed in court, and proven traitors, they’ll just “lose” through a constitutional process.

Always give your enemy an out, or else they can't surrender. Unless you want a pyhric victory. Which in this case would be all out civil war.

Biden MUST concede

Agreed. And this out actually paints Biden as a sympathetic, hard luck, loser to his supporters.

A Pyrrhic victory is a victory that inflicts such a devastating toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat. Winning a Pyrrhic victory takes a heavy toll that negates any true sense of achievement or damages long-term progress.

What makes you think they're just going to surrender after going through all these lengths? I give it a 0% chance of happening and they will fight tooth and nail to the last moment

Contested states electors fight to the death in a big colosseum on live tv, until one party is wiped out, the survivors get their votes counted.

"Sword."

The 7 states electors were NOT sent by the legislatures. They did this on their own. The votes are NOT certified and they currently DO NOT COUNT.

They are NOT Dueling Electors.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles but it's untrue. We have to undo some of these certificates of votes and/or have the legislatures confirm these electors for any of this to be true.

14
NYC_4_Trump 14 points ago +16 / -2

Idk why you’re being negative. We know that 7 states had legislative factions approve a plan to submit a competing slate of electors.

That was the first step in the right direction. The next step is to have the legislature approve and submit those electors.

You can’t have that second step without the first step.

If I were a gambling man, I’d say these states are signaling to Biden that he has a “legal” way out of this - if the fraud becomes too big to ignore. Biden could lose due to some “technicality” which would paint him as a victim to his supporters.

23
F22-Raptor-007 23 points ago +24 / -1

Nothing about my post was negative, it was factual. There is a lot of disinformation going around.

Yes it was a first step in the right direction, and what it really does is give us more time to continue to try and get things fixed.

You are correct in what you are saying. All I am saying is the simple fact that if the legislatures do not approve and submit these electors by January 6th, they will not count.

The fight is not over.

5
NYC_4_Trump 5 points ago +5 / -0

Agreed. We’re in for a knockdown, drag out fight for the next few weeks.

Keep the faith.

3
qwertyuiop123 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is completely false. Different members of the legislature sent different electors. End of story.

The votes are NOT certified

That is a meaningless statement. What happened here is identical to the 1960 event in Hawaii.

Some people are getting confused because the constitution says the it is the governors duty to sign off and send the results of the electors to Washington. For some reason, some people think this somehow gives the governor the decision on who is president. This is ridiculous. The governor can't just send Kanye votes to DC if he wants, neither can he decide not to send Trump votes. The governor refusing to do his duty doesn't just make the electors go away.

TheAmbulance 22 points ago +22 / -0

awesome as one vote per state in the house and thats that. and we own the senate for vp. but I'd like to see the fraudulent forien interference play out personally

19
AndrewCuomosEmmy 19 points ago +19 / -0

We do have the Senate, but there are, what, 10 true conservative Senators, if that? McConnell I think would vote for Pence, he will do whatever he has to in order to further his career. But as long as the 3 of Murkowski, Collins, and Pierre Delecto are in the Senate, I don't trust it. Hopefully Pence just seats enough of our electors so that Trump/Pence win outright, but we could very well end up with a Trump-Harris administration for the next 4 years.

4
Gwot0412 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can you explain more about how we could end up with a Trump/Harris administration?

7
mrs.rose 7 points ago +7 / -0

The house votes for the Pres and the Senate votes for VP. The house gets 1 vote per state, the senate gets their normal vote i believe.

7
Spez_BTFO_v2 7 points ago +8 / -1

Democrats won't have the majority needed to seat Harris.

5
bouki 5 points ago +5 / -0

Let's hope not then all they would have to do is JFK Trump to get harris in then...

5
mcgruffthecrimedawgg 5 points ago +5 / -0

And then Harris will get the Robert Kennedy treatment.

1
mrs.rose 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not even if RINOs like McConnell and Romney cuck out?

3
Spez_BTFO_v2 3 points ago +4 / -1

They support Trump only when it is safe, and will back stab him only when it is safe. Self perseverance is the only game they play. If it makes it to this stage, cucking out will be suicide. They will back stab long before it reaches this point.

1
Pedeville 1 point ago +1 / -0

How do the house members decide who gets the vote from each state?

3
AndrewCuomosEmmy 3 points ago +3 / -0

In the event of neither candidate getting to 270, the House state delegations vote. So, 53 Cali reps cast a vote between them, the 8 WI reps do the same, and whoever gets 26 delegations wins the Presidency. We control most state delegations. The Senate votes for the Vice President, with 51 votes needed to secure the position. We have a slim majority party-wise, but you know how many RINOs we have who would probably vote for Harris as VP. This means that Trump wins the vote for President, but his VP is Harris.

2
BeerMan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Will Georgia have Senators on January 6? Their special election is January 5, so I would imagine they're without Senators until they certify a winner.

The Trump electors weren't authorized or confirmed by a Governor/Legislature though, were they?

9
F22-Raptor-007 9 points ago +10 / -1

No they weren't. This tweet is incorrect. The electors are (currently) worthless.

qwertyuiop123 1 point ago +1 / -0

The governor has no say over anything. Only the legislature does. He has a duty to send the results to Congress. He doesn't get a decision, that would be ridiculous. If the governor doesn't do his duty the electors don't just disappear. Different people from the legislature sent different electors. End of story.

1
Cincinattus1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

Were these Trump electors authorized by their respective legislatures (not certain factors, the whole legislature), though?

1
qwertyuiop123 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why would the whole legislature send two sets of electors? There wouldn't be a duel if everyone agreed.

It is till up to the legislature which set gets counted, and right now it is clear the Biden's will be counted if nothing changes because the constitution says that when there is a duel the one that was officially certified is the one that goes through.

So yes I guess now I reread your question, you are actually correct. A lot of people on here were saying "This was all just a Larp theatre" which is nonsense. If the GOP hadn't done this the election would be over.

In the event of a tie breaker, the Senate and House convene and vote on the two Presidential candidates in a one on one boxing and or wrestling match. The one who falls down first for longer than 10 seconds is the loser. If one goes down hard and fast, they are an extra double loser. Sad

The Electoral Count Act of 1887 says that the electors who are sent in accordance with the state laws in effect prior to Election Day are the ones who will be accepted. It's up to the two houses of congress to decide which set of electors represent the state in accordance to those state laws. If the two houses of congress can't agree on which set of electors are those are, the set of electors which have the state governors seal of approval will represent the state.

Texas should just unilaterally change it up and double their electors. If anyone has a problem Texas can tell them to shut the fuck up because they HAVE NO STANDING!

4
kyblugrass 4 points ago +5 / -1

If I have this right going by things around the web. Republicans from contested states have sent their own slate of electors, which as of now is mostly symbolic. If the DNI report hopefully dropping soon, and some of these audits( AZ, MI) recognizing fraud, we'll have evidence that can be used in a legally actionable matter. Then we may be able to get those Republican elector slates recognized legally, and then SCOTUS to take up a case.

Trump is fond of Andrew Jackson.

A man tried to assassinate Andrew Jackson on the stairs of the Capitol. He missed his mark.

Andrew Jackson then used his walking stick to beat the assassin mercilessly.
