This won't be the kind doctor who followed dad's footsteps. He has seen the beast and it tried to kill him. Rand would not have cucked out before they tried to kill him, and assaulted his wife. Betrayed by his own friend, Cory Booker, for a few pieces of silver.

Mark my words, this is a changed man. He will act on the constitution, as written, in the Original Intent. He is someone where, while we may not always agree, we can always trust. While he serves the interests of Kentucky, he cannot be bought or sold. Clean of special interests any scandal will have to be fabricated, any criticism a hypocrisy.

We are blessed to have him.

Does no one remember the GOP train incident?

That's 4 times.

And this was the other, in 2017 -

Several witnesses said their lives were saved by the presence of the Capitol Police, who were there because of Scalise's position as the House Majority Whip. The Capitol Police immediately engaged Hodgkinson and kept him pinned down, preventing him from continuing to fire on the unarmed baseball players. Rep. Davis and Sen. Rand Paul separately said that if not for the presence of the officers, the incident "would have been a massacre."[28][4][29]

I know we don't need to be huffing hopium around here, but, the SCOTUS isn't necessarily done. There are other things brewing and they may get involved again. I'm not saying to trust. Just to watch warily.

Kavanaugh is a weak willed pussy and you can see it all over him. He has no morals. ACB is just a dumb cunt. Rand comes from Ron. Different breed.

When a women adopts 2 black kids from haiti for no apparent reason like ACB, you know there is a lot of leftist in their head.

The only reason that could make sense is if they were offered to her and she accepted. If she sought out those kids then shes virtue signalling like all the other white female celebs adopting black kids to show off.

This site seems to largely trust Ted Cruz, but I am still uncertain and skeptical

Can not trust 100%, too many "hidden hand" pictures of Cruz. He'll pull though, and has, but what do those mean as far as his true allegiance?

They’re also forgetting this. He fucked us hard!!!

https://www.paul.senate.gov/news/dr-rand-paul-releases-statement-national-emergency-vote

“I stand with President Trump on the need for a border wall and stronger border security, but the Constitution clearly states that money cannot be spent unless Congress has passed a law to do so.”

Meanwhile the left and RINOs had already already shown countless times what they think of the constitution, and the country and yet Rand threw us under the bus for “MUH PRINCIPLES”. I understand he finally got a taste of what the average American experiences from the violent left first hand since then, but I still don’t trust him to do the right thing to save this country. You cannot continue to play by a rule set that the other team won’t even admit exist, and I don’t trust him to be able to do this. Sorry. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Edit: Honestly though, none of this matters if we allow this sham of an election to stand. The country will be finished anyway.

I love Rand Paul and if standing by his principles is his only drawback then I can live with that. That only bothers me because Democrats love using your rules against you while not following them. It can be a costly way to conduct politics.

Yeah this is why we love him. I disagreed with him on much as well. One of my main mistakes that I made was my disagreement with him on Iran. I was wrong, he was right. It took four years for me to understand his argument. Guess who turned me around on this position? President Donald J. Trump.

Rand may be right about appropriations. You may be right about congress betraying our Constitution (you are).

Rand is going to contest the election. He, you, and I are all right about that.

And he learned nothing about the left from it.

I love the Pauls.

First there was Ron Paul. The principled Spartacus in the land of the compromised. It earned him many fans, but few allies.

Then there was Rand Paul. Similar ideals, but he seemed ready and able to play ball. Knowing when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em could be a valuable skill, and Rand always took a stand when the time was right. The GOP needed a change of approach like that.

Then Trump barges in and flips the table. But in doing so, he shows conservatives the light. He shows them how to fight, and how to win.

Now Rand has been absorbing the lessons of Trump. Now he knows, with deadly seriousness, how far the left is willing to debase themselves, and how to truly fight back.

There's potential for Rand Paul to emerge reforged into the hero we need.

The beard is the first sign.

I've been saying it for ages. We need more beards in Congress.

Well said.

If the Trump administration allows the GOP to allow Biden into office I'm not sure. We need him so we can reset the table and unlatch FANG (Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google) and neoliberalism from the DNC. The tactic of threatening Americans with violence if they resist the democrats must to be stomped out. I do not know if we can do that without Donald J. Trump.

I know how to run some ground game for a counter-insurgent political campaign. Bringing weapons into street fights is not my ideal scenario. Having technology companies spy on us to support violent actors suppressing our voices, less ideal. As a strategist, it has been obvious to me for some time that the "everyone but me is a racist that must be physically attacked and economically ruined" memetic was loaded up to fire whether or not we had a Trump admin.

I don't know how to counter message this yet.

I pray you are right. It sounds like no one said shit to McConnel when he was telling them to not object to the slate of voters earlier today, though.

I'm curious, how did Cory Booker betray him?

16
Dictator_Bob 16 points ago +16 / -0

Rand and Cory were friends. Or, at least Cory led Rand to believe it.

Here is a part of the story of what's been going on with Rand:

https://www.independentsentinel.com/kelley-pauls-open-letter-to-cory-booker/

This is only a small window into what's going on. Booker made a pact with the devil. The devil made it's demands. Kelley pleaded with Cory. He allowed her to be attacked in the streets, and offered no comfort after the fact. I can only imagine the sting of that betrayal and feel nothing but the deepest sympathy for what are two of our best.

Understand that these are US Senators. Not the lower house, or one of us lowly plebeians. One of one hundred. The most powerful body on earth. There are no mistakes being made here.

I have been following this closely for a long time. It's been darker than most people know for a while. President Trump has every right to put an end to this. Every President up to Kennedy would have.

Senator Booker will get his reward in the end. The devil always gets his due.

Ah, I remember reading that article when it came out but completely forgot about it. Thanks for the explanation and reminder!

Yeah you bet. If you see the devil out there, spit in his eye for me.
