The obsessive anarchists who hate all political parties and institutions are actually fascists because they want total control and think that the corporations will give it to them once they destroy society. I have mostly Democrat friends and they are more against anarchism then a lot of Republicans who call themselves libertarians. Both sides see the corporate takeover as a divide and conquer campaign to destroy institutions using gay and minority propaganda as cover. The only people who buy it are fairly well-off 9-5 types who never looked into it and don't have the knowledge to back up the obvious claims, so they cow to the anarchists and their corporate directors.

Depends on the type of anarchist. There are the “anarcho-capitalists” that are basically just extreme libertarians. They want maximum freedom and minimum government. Essentially, actual anarchists there. Then there are “anarcho-communists” these are idiots who like the idea of “anarchy” because they don’t think their should be rules....that apply to them. They are all for applying rules to other people. They have no real sense of throwing off any hierarchy here; just subverting rules to only apply to opponents. So, yeah, fascists.
