My history here is fuzzy, because it’s been a few years since I’ve read Suetonius and Caesar’s writings aren’t all that helpful. However... he tried amnesty for the Gauls, which failed in suppressing them (although worked for the Cis-Alpine Gauls, iirc,) and I think the answer you’re looking for: military tribunals. He drafted a new constitution before crossing the Rubicon and letting the dice be cast and so on, but I don’t exactly see President Trump re-drafting our constitution.

The answer was "a stylus", a writing instrument.

Or perhaps...... a twitter account.

I don’t think President Trump wants to re-draft The Constitution. I think he wants to reaffirm it! Semper Fi. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

No. Our Constitution has been seen as an impediment to people who are grasping for power and has been seen as that for a long time. Trump, Reagan, Lincoln, maybe JFK appreciated the beauty and promise it brought to each American. All Trump did was follow the Constitution, which has threatened the power of so many. What do we do to take our power back?
