My wife is going in for surgery tomorrow morning to have a growth removed from one of her ovaries. There is a chance they may have to take the ovary and we are both praying this is not the case and all goes well. So any and all good energy sent her way would be very much appreciated.
I also wanted to just say thank you to everyone on here and the mods for creating a place where I actually feel free and like I'm not alone in this fight for the country. God Bless you all and God Bless Donald Trump.

Sending prayers, but I also wanted to send you some encouragement. My sister and I both had ovarian cysts in the same year. Mine was the size of a golf ball. They were able to remove it and I kept my ovary.
My sister had a cyst inside her ovary. It was the size of a grapefruit. She ended up losing that ovary. Her doctor assured her it probably wouldn't affect her fertility, but she was rightly concerned. Fastforward a year. Her and her husband decide to start trying for baby #2 on a whim. It took them 8 months to get pregnant the first time, so she figured it would take a while, especially since she was now missing an ovary. Well she ended up getting pregnant the FIRST month they tried.... and surprise surprise it was fraternal twins (which means 2 eggs were released). We do not have twins anywhere in our family, so this was a shock! She also met another couple that had the same thing happen. Lost an ovary and then conceived twins.
So while I understand the potential of her losing an ovary is definitely not ideal and it's really scary, I just wanted to encourage you that there is a reason God gave us 2! God bless you both, and I will keep y'all in my prayers. <3

I said a prayer for you too, and also wanted to add that I know two people who had a cyst on their ovary and had to get it removed. Both who have successfully become pregnant after having it. Don’t worry!

My prayers go out to both of you. I dealt with ovarian cysts before and they were terrible, but luckily went away on their own. I pray they don’t need to remove anything but the growth, but if it comforts you, I found out that when a woman has one ovary, it basically takes over for the missing one and continues releasing eggs every month like usual. Best of luck!

Hello my friend. Sending a little prayer your way.
My wife is the more religious one, but just a story for you: a friend of mine's wife had a similar situation. Growth on her ovary, they had been trying to conceive for almost 2 years. Unfortunately, they did have to take the ovary, it was a pre-cancerous tumor (dr said it could turn into full blown cancer at any time). 6 months later: pregnant, healthy baby boy. She would have another boy, then they had to do the whole transplanting an egg thing, but they had a girl.
Hopefully, its not cancer, first of all. Second, if they do take the ovary, if you are trying to conceive, just know it may be harder, but it is possible.
Always look at the worst case scenario, then assume statistically, it is probably not going to be that bad. Wishing you the best!

Don't fret pede! Prayers incoming! Not alone at all. My sister had one at the beginning of the year and another last week. The first was 99% supposed to be cancerous based on size (larger than grapefruit). No cancer found. She made a full recovery from the first and is doing well now. Of course I attribute the success to the many prayers of the family and now we are rolling your wife into the prayer routine. God bless and wishes for a speedy recovery!
