This may draw fire, but I grew up in a progressive-blue city, with liberal parents, went to a liberal high school, liberal friends, a liberal college with liberal professors, and ended up hardcore conservative after just... gathering enough experience of life, realizing how hard it is to build things and a functioning society as great as America, and thinking philosophically about things for long enough. Some of us were just born to think for ourselves and many were not. It terrifies me sometimes if I dwell on how many "smart" people I know who are simply incapable of THINKING. Fucking freaky.
Question is, how are you NOT a liberal with a liberal family?

IMO They don’t value living in reality and would rather just follow the leader and not make waves.
