I suspect that in the 32 states that have voting restrictions for at least some time after a felon is released, a bit or research will find that grateful felons voted (illegally) in substantial numbers for the Democrats that let them out of prison.
I'd say by now a majority of felons are eligible to vote, most states let you vote once your off parole
