Just seems like the demand might have caught up by now more than it has. Not 100%. But dang. You can’t even find it. If it was available and expensive I might say it’s demand. Is someone buying it up so we can’t?
The military...we are at war. Then there is the complete overhaul of certain sectors of manufacturing that im sure tied up resources, especially w/ the Emergency Use, Gov mandating private businesses to produce medical supplies...this wolud be prioritized.
and im sure China isnt sending us any Copper, Black powder, or Lead peacefully any time soon. :)
One year ago Wal-Mart put out a memo calling for more gun control and outlining their plan to stop selling handgun and "short barreled rifle" ammunition. I was a department manager there at the time. The memo claimed that Wal-Mart held approximately 30% of the nation's ammunition market. They followed through on their plan. So Wal-Mart no longer consumes 30% of the ammo manufacturer's product, but the ammo suppliers still can't keep up. I think that's interesting.
I worked for Walmart long ago. I ran general receiving. Long ago. Ran it during 9/11. First time anyone called in scared. Found out just how little those people did that couple of days.
Let me guess. CHY-NA
I was thinking the exact same thing.
China gives its ammo out for free if you register as a Uyghur.
Wasn't the military basically out when Trump took office? I was under the impression the government is pretty much buying all the ammo.
