Coronavirus was what did it for me. They clamped down HARD when reports of the virus came out
Of course, that was back when leftists still banned you for suggesting that the virus might actually exist and maybe wearing masks or staying home were things people could decide to do to protect themselves.
Once those things became mandatory though, they were all over it. Oh how the turntables.
I remember when Hydrochloroquine or however it's spelled was first brought up, people were super hopeful. They knew it wasn't a silver bullet, but it had results that could help.
Next thing you know Trump mentions it and everyone's going "Oh it's worthless, there's no actual data, etc etc"
