Yeah the last time I was on reddit it was because of a recommended thread about how the movie "Angus" was underrated. I'm a fan of that movie and its soundtrack is a hidden gem, so I went in to join the conversation, except by then the conversation had devolved into "why aren't there any teen movies where the ugly chick scores a date with the hot guy?" Literally fucking EVERYTHING is politicized or turned into a social or feminism issue.
The whole Orcs are Racist thing got a lot of traction with the RPG subreddits too.

As someone who isn’t terribly interested in sex or romance, even I understand that physical attractiveness just gives you a distinct edge. On the whole, like men like attractive women more just like most women like attractive men more, I’m sorry. Lose weight, get in shape, shower regularly. When did people stop trying to be handsome/pretty? It’s not hard to be at least presentable. Like less than 0.0000000000001% of the male population is going to go for a hamplanet vs even just a clean and well-kept woman.
