It’s a literal game of thrones. Frankly, I’m not sure why Trump didn’t hire more nobodies for certain positions. His biggest mistake was trusting swamp recommendations. He needs to just say fuckit who is going to be the bull in the China store here? To fix depts/agencies/bureaus.

Alternatively, I'd say that for the first decade these Senators and Reps are in DC, it's about money. It's seems like they are willing to do or say anything for money.
And then imagine showing up with a badass familand close friends who have already had power privilege and comfort and care not. They care only for good and set out with you to reconquer the world for the forces of godly virtue. And then you actually do it!

Thats why as bad as nepotism can be sometimes- people often keep things ‘in the family’. The fact that his kids are qualified is a yuge bonus.
