Hate to say it, but... still worth the read. Especially if you stop at Wizard and Glass and just let your imagination take you the rest of the way-- I'll send you my copies, I don't need them anymore :-) I am SO pissed to find so many of the people I once admired are so gullible, naive, and anti-American.
Same. They do it because they don’t want to get canceled. I love George R.R. Martin’s work, but he had TDS.
So does Kevin Nash (Diesel from WWF) and Ron Perlman (Clay Morrow from Sons of Anarchy). These 2 dudes post about Trump EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not a day goes by without a tweet and half of it is rambling nonsense.
I also remember something about him saying his IQ dropped after watching titanic but I don’t remember if this was before or after some based time traveler ran him over
He doesn't write with an ending in mind is why, he just starts and sees what happens. Which is a terrible way to write IMO, you need a cogent beginning, middle, and end in mind so that it makes sense and builds up.
That would explain it. I agree that you should have at least some idea of an ending before writing a story, otherwise risk disaster, which is what happened with so many of King's story endings.
Yes, it is and I’m not one of those people who have to have a happy ending for a book. All I will say is that the ending sort of nullified the entire storyline, just enjoy the rest of the story and when you get to the end try to forget it (that’s what I did lol)
Not his best writing but then again neither was the ending to the tower series lol
God damn it. Thanks for reminding me.
Such a fantastic build up, then years of reading ruined in 10 pages.
I just started that series... Damn man.
walkaway The ending sucks so bad.
A very bittersweet thank you for that.

So sad.
DON'T MEET YOUR HEROES Unfortunately, Twitter makes that impossible.
Basically he has a bunch of Marvel villains duke it out with some Gunslingers
I’d still read it. There’s an “afterward”—either skip it, or wait a week before reading it.

Never read the last book. Never will
I just finished Salem's Lot and that book was such a dry pile of dogshit baking in the sun.
The endings to most of his stories have been crap.

Oh man I'm on Wolves of Calla. Is it really that bad?
