Baghdadi. If you recall afterwards, he said he couldn't tell anybody in congress beforehand because he knew they would leak it. So there has been at least one instance where Trump acted suddenly and decisively without letting anyone know in advance. People were upset that he had suddenly moved our troops out of Syria for seemingly no good reason, they did not know what was about to happen.

He is the president of the United States. His job is to keep the union intact. Insurrection act will only be invoked as a last option remaining.
It will be after January 6th. After the electoral college route succeeds / fails

Don't be stressed. Still many paths forward through non military channels; to say nothing of the EO.
It may NOT BE A GOOD IDEA to use the Insurrection Act.
Because if he does and prevails, then the crooked GOP will hold it over his head and call him a tyrant and term #2 will be Shitpeachment 2.0.
