Yesterday evening I was attacked on the street for not wearing a mask. In Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe. Prague streets are very safe even at night, we have no BLM or anything similar. We have no face mask mandate on the streets, only in public buildings, markets, public transportation systems, and so on. Yet this moron looked like he was teleported directly from BLM protests in the USA.

Agree, but the newly established Antifa in the US is modeled after the Antifa that has been lurking in the shadows in Europe for a generation or so. They carry the same logo and operate in a similar manner, even though the US version is much more violent.

They don't actually give a shit about viruses. The mask is a symbol of submission to them (they identify with the world-wide Leftist movement because they lack sense of belonging or personal power), and they see you not wearing the mask as an act of defiance against them personally.

In Croatia now on business. All the cafes are closed and police come around to your house for 14 days to make sure you’re home if you have a positive test. Other than that, people don’t give a shit about the masks and majority of the people aren’t afraid, but they think they “understand” the virus being very contagious so they’re not exactly as pissed as we are about the freedoms being stripped away.
I have spent a beautiful holiday this June in Croatia. A road trip from Prague to Dubrovnik and beyond, all the way to Prevlaka. I have been to Croatia many times, but this year it was special, the usually crowded places like Dubrovnik and Blue cave were almost empty, many people were afraid of traveling.

BTW I worked with Czech Tech Univ (CTU), visited for about a week several years ago. Impressive. Did you know the oldest Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club in the world is in Prague - when the San Francisco Chapter closed here in the US, it left the Prague Club as the oldest. This was several years ago, I hope it is still accurate. I still wear the Prague Club pin they gave me.

You gave out only reasons why someone would not attack someone for not wearing a mask. There's zero motive. It's literally the story of a bad guy who's a bad guy because he's a bad guy and how you, the hero, overcame the bad guy.
I mean, you will find this almost exact story in like 90% of the self published amateur isekai light novels you can find online for free.

I am not a psychologist. I do not know his motive. Was it true covid hysteria? Was it just a pretense for a pointless street fight? Was he just frustrated or intoxicated?
