Everything is turned inside out and we are supposed to accept and tolerate it, nay, even take it as normal. This is literally what communists did back then...

You are right. As much as anything else, we need a moral revolution in this country.

There'll be another SCOTUS attempt for sure. It just has to be Trump supported by states, rather than Texas as the front-runner.

No, because Trump first has to go through the lower courts and they will delay.

SCOTUS didn't really think TX has no standing, it was just an excuse.

It really is this bad. The Republic really is dead, or on life support at the best. We need to face the reality; it's no use putting our head in the sand and ignoring an unpleasant reality.

Basically, if on the 20th, Trump holds onto the presidency, I will still have hope for a legal, speech-based solution to the attempted coup. If not, we will need another solution.

You really think Alito and Thomas wanted to punt this?

They’re helping by quickly adjudicating and signaling “good try but this isn’t the right lawsuit”.

Bring the right suit at the right time and all bets are off.

Yeah, that's what I think as well.

What would happen if a lawsuit was brought before the supreme court challenging the constitutionality of court packing. Yes, it has been larger before in its history, but there is nothing that says the SCOTUS has to follow prior precedence.

1
SnowflakeJuice 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's not constitutional about it? It may be horrible for the country, but it's constitutional.

The precedent that would have set might have been really bad. States would start suing each other for everything. If scotus doesn’t take some of these other cases then we will know the deal.

Honestly, this election showed us just how bad it is. We have been betrayed by EVERY institution. Literally no one has our back.

Never ever ever ever trust anyone w a LAW degree! Lawyers in ROBES are the WORST of them all!! I was a paralegal, private investigator and para (for Phila pretrial and judgement court as well as their warrant unit) (no legal degree)) and Lawyers are some of the most despicable people on the planet! Im now babysit/nanny for special needs kids n teens. Had to get away from the lawyers! Very FEW had integrity sad to say!

To echo Daniel Horowitz's point, this condoned ALL the lawless activity of federal courts with respect to state election laws.

I wasn’t betrayed by an institution I believe in this year. SCOTUS did that a long time ago.

That moment was the moment the Republic was stabbed in the back by whatever has replaced it. The Republic is bleeding out, and I don't know if anything can save it besides Trump, or 1776.

by the SCOTUS denying Texas standing... They PAVED the way towards SECESSION!!! The United States has ZERO obligation to Texas... We have ZERO to the United States.

They have all been either threatened with their lives and are too scared to take the steps against the perpetrators or they are part of NWO. Any evidence to the contrary is welcome.

I am sick of hearing the B.S. narrative of that SCOTUS doesn't have guts. They have a helluva lot of guts when it comes to expanding their own power.

I've been saying for years our legal system needs a vast overhaul. Ever since speedy trials went away. Its ridiculous to be able to scream a politician is a gangbanging rapist as a political tactic and not have any court hear the case and rule for 1.5 years to see if it was all made up and defamatory in the middle of an election cycle. Either that or people need to spend massive amounts of time in jail for fake allegations

Judges are not perfect Nd legal minds that have tontwist case laW instead of simple English are not bright people. They are indoctrinated 8n legalese and bullshit Nd I've zero respect for it.
