The Left groups them all together as a tool to bash others but many of these tribes had nothing to do with each other and/or didn’t get along hence their various foreign and domestic alliances that changed over time. Not cool with the broad brush strokes. It’s pretty lazy, not historically accurate, and treats people as a collective vs individuals.

People should read a book called The myth of the Noble Savage. All those horses they rode, we brought. Indians extincted their horses 10,000 years ago. Had no clue what a horse was.
Kind of amazing that they became good with horses. Also, the whole culture of the plains Indian, making teepees and hunting buffalo never existed before European horses were brought over.
Since European diseases mainly came from domesticated animals which didn't exist in the Americas, you have to wonder if horses contributed to the Indian's demise via European diseases.

They blame "blankets" for spreading the diseases, and what is a common requirement for ridding a horse? It think we can reasonably extrapolate that horses accelerated the spread, as they also allowed a much faster form of travel and therefore trade than they had access to prior.

I mean it was definitely convenient for the settling of America and avoided a lot of potential outright conflict, but other than a few edge cases like "infected blankets", the vast majority of native deaths were by disease and were unplanned
