The elite blame others for what they do and they are accusing a bunch of tribal bow-hunters of trying to genocide westerners, killing babies in blood sacrifice to the gods etc.
The Aztecs did as far as I know enslave and sacrifice humans to such an extreme degree that the tribes around the Aztecs joined the Spanish soldiers to attack the Aztecs.
