I am catholic and can assure you that the pope's status as a heretic is all but certain.

How hard is it for the pope to just echo the same teachings the church has always taught?

It is hard. A true Catholic would need to condemn fake elections, decry abortion as demonic, crush the pro-contraception lies, and live a chaste life.

The issue is that the college of cardinals didn't see any of those things as being required for the papacy... likely because they are also corrupted.

At least five decades, probably more like 8, in the modern era. It was better when it was just rival Italian families fighting over money. Now it’s serious communism, and all that goes with it.

I’m Catholic and I agree.

(Technically I believe Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict, was forced to resign by blackmailers, invalidating his resignation. This is on top of the twin facts that papal resignations may not exist, but if they do they require the correct form which he did not use. The most compelling conclusion after reviewing it all is that Benedict attempted to resign only one office, the local one which gives him authority over the Diocese of Rome, Italy, not the global office. Digging into this turns up a bunch of fuckery, and I doubt anyone will come away impressed with Benedict, either. It’s been a long, cold, Marxist winter in the Church.)

Yeah, I looked into Benedict and he's not the angel I'd assumed to find.

Nope. Equivalent of a dirty old swamp republican,

I am catholic and I just read an article saying "IT'S ART, you knuckle dragging Neanderthal!" If that's the case, I'm proud to stand with my caveman brethren! What's next? Piss christ in St. Peter's square?

I was raised Catholic and have been on the fence about how I feel since the 2000's.

This new pope has made me sprint away from Catholicism at a breakneck speed.

Still Christian, but Catholicism is about authoritarianism to its core, this Pope is just the last straw on top.

Believe it or not there have been worse popes. The truth is in the historical teachings

6
Bloatmaxxxer 6 points ago +7 / -1

Our first pope did deny Jesus directly, three times. It doesn't get much worse than that.

7
KRosen333 7 points ago +7 / -0

....

I have no words. Is this.... Christian humor?

CounterRevolutionary 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know of another Pope who was arguably a formal heretic. There were plenty of crooks, but they knew enough to stay away from trying to change dogma.

2
Rudyard 2 points ago +2 / -0

I tend to disagree with this. But, I admit it’s not something one can prove.

2
aaafirefly123 2 points ago +2 / -0

I present to you:

Pope Alexander VI

Rookie numbers. Try John IX.

I am Catholic, and the pope is Catholic, but he's a modernist Jesuit. He says a lot of things that are at the very least painfully ambiguous, and he makes a lot of decisions that are questionable.

However, the cope is only infallible on matters of faith and morals and only when he is speaking ex cathedra which this Pope has not done. So all his decisions even the important ones or ones that could be viewed as a radical are simply the choices of the bishop of Rome acting a merely as a bishop and not as the head of The Universal Church.

2
Rudyard 2 points ago +2 / -0

True enough. So this pope has decided never to invoke infallibility and to simply promulgate as much ambiguity as possible to undermine confidence in Christian morality.

6
UnderCoverTrumper 6 points ago +6 / -0

Wow. I'm not even Christian and this is very disturbing. The person in charge of preserving his religion SHOULD NOT actively undermine that religion's most sacred symbols. Really concerning.

A I seeing that right? There's no baby Jesus anywhere... and that angel is a skeleton?

tfw "is the Pope Catholic?" isn't a rhetorical question anymore.

I saw this before and still have no idea what in the fuck that is supposed to be.

4

Raised catholic, still a believer, but.... Fuck the pope and fuck the catholic church.

Rudyard 0 points ago +1 / -1

Fuck the hierarchy. If you can find one good man...well, if you think you found one just wait a minute. Maybe Vigano. Maybe. And he’s exiled.

Yeah. Although nobody is sure if the can. That particular debate is 500 years old and not close to settled.

Commie Pope is a commie.

3
Saigunx 3 points ago +3 / -0

Either demonologists are real or they're trolling. I've always assumed they trolled Catholics for fun, but the things they do in private and how elaborate they are with it sometimes, convinces me it's the former.

3
pizzakek 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am not christian if not for some cultural values, but i studied the thing some.

This pope is simply a spin doctor for the elites. He is full speed ahead on agenda21 and cast 0 doubts on anything progressive, which happens to go against the teachings.

This pope is the equivalent for the church of a biden 2020 election, you can review the future through him.

1
Rudyard 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is correct IMO.

For anyone who's interested in learning about the infiltration of the catholic church I recommend watching Dr.Taylor Marshall. Dude does great videos amd interviews of the history of the church and the problems of today.

1
Rudyard 1 point ago +1 / -0

He’s pretty good. A little hasty, but on the right track. He needs an army of pedes to help him put the whole thing together.

I’m actually surprised it wasn’t a scene of Muslims sodomizing Christ tbh. This pope has pissed all over catholic values. Isn’t he pro choice and pro gay marriage? I know he kissed Syrian Muslims feet. I see it and I’m not even religious so I imagine Catholics and Christians see it too.

All the humanoids look like upright sarcophagi. The one with the halo looks more skeletal.
They all also look like really low detail Matryoshka dolls.

I am a Catholic. We need to pray for him and pray for the Church. These Evil Marxists have been trying to infiltrate the Church for many decades. I wish Archbishop Vigano was our Pope. We need to pray that this Great (Evil) Reset won't happen. I have every confidence that President Trump will have his second term. What will we do after that (to prevent all these evil Marxists and communists from trying to infiltrate America)?
