I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. I have seen the county sheriff commit perjury on the stand. The defense attorney busted him for it. The judge dismissed concerns of the sheriff's malfeasance, while acknowledging that the sheriff lied. Also, the DA routinely submits falsified "evidence" to the court.
