I have two friends who are based AF but each own their own small business. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. These exec orders have no legal standing, so they won't get arrested if they tell Coonman to go fuck himself and don't comply. But the local agencies will make their lives hell behind the scenes (licensing, fines, etc.). Not to mention the brownshirt maskhole customers that love to rat people out for not masking up. You know, ;leaving bad yelp reviews, reporting them to ABC, and all that kind of shit. It fucking blows.
One of the advantages of living near very small towns (I'm in the sticks in rural Oregon), is that anyone dumb enough to go Full Karen quickly finds themselves (and their families) in deep shit.
This is because we quickly learn who they are, and out here, everyone relies on everyone else.
By way of example, the one cunt who did go Full Karen (and her entire family) now has to drive at least 50+ miles round-trip just to get groceries, gas, dental appointments, auto parts, or anything at all. Nobody will let her, her husband, or their kids into their stores, for any reason. Reporting a store to the state is bad... very bad. This ain't Portland, folks.
TL;DR - you can go maskless for the most part around the small towns here if you feel like it.
I live in a rural town too, it's just like this and it's awesome. It's like, the way people were meant to live, not jam packed in tight cities. In these smaller town's there is still a sense of community. Everyone knows everyone else and we are for the most part like minded. People wave at you as you drive by, little to no crime, most people still leave their car doors unlocked in the parking lots.

The liberal majority legislature DOESN'T CARE about the fact that the state is mainly conservative because the densely populated liberal enclaves vote them in every time. The gun rights issue is a prime example. 10's of thousands of peacefully armed demonstrators showed up at the capitol, phone lines flooded, emails sent, constituents got meetings w/ their reps, and they STILL passed almost everything they wanted to. It's literally going to take those same tens of thousands of patriots to march INTO the capitol and drag these fuckers out into the streets (and whatever happens, happens)

She said OSHA can come at anytime and demand her security tapes to review and if they see more than 5 people then she gets a fine. edit: spelling
That's a little bit of a lie and probably said to just get customers off her ass. I gotta deal with workplace safety from time to time and I don't think OSHA does random inspections. They will visit if you have an accident, especially if someone dies or goes to the hospital, or if there's a work safety compliant. And even then the visit is limited to the complaint or incident at hand. They can't go back and inspect everything wholesale. But maybe now have deemed that practice acceptable since can since you can (GASP!) spread the dreaded Shanghai Sniffles at any given time.
OSHA can definitely just show up and inspect a workplace. And now, Kate Brown has weaponized OSHA so I have no reason to doubt the person that told me this.
Haha I got myself a $1,500 no mask ticket as a mid 20's electrician. I make fuck all for money so this ticket breaks me but I'll start slashing tires in the court parking lot before I pay this fine.
