And according to the CDC, WE have eradicated polio. And yes, when someone on a forum about American politics talking about a specific American politician even namechecking an American organization says "we," you can just go ahead and assume that we mean Americans.
It may seem crazy to Europeans, but most Americans don't say "we" to encompass the entire fucking species.
