The EO report likely will not be publicly released, at least not immediately.

Any actions based on it will happen behind closed doors first.

My guess is that any big happening will be 12/26 at the earliest.

I heard the deadline is the 18th, or it expires.

The 18th is the deadline for the initial ASSESSMENT by the DNI. After the assessment, there needs to be an evaluation report by the AG and Secretary of Homeland Security and/or any other relevant agency.

The key is that any of this can happen prior to the deadline (and could have already happened). Once these are complete they have to go through the 'Framework' they decided on in 2018--All of which is classified.

My guess is similar to u/DangleBarry, I think it will happen 12/24.

Don't get caught up in this please. The EO says "not later than 45 days after the conclusion of an election...shall conduct an assessment...shall deliver this assessment".

Is the election concluded? It's really unclear if we've even entered this 45 day period since as we all well know, a winner hasn't actually been declared so is the election done?

THEN "Within 45 days of receiving this assessment... shall deliver... a report"

There are no hard timelines in EO 13848 so saying December 18th is "The Happening" is setting a lot of people up for heartbreak. We really just have to wait and see.

Is there a certain time of the day on Friday that he would have to invoke the EO by?

What, pray tell, is “TheHappening”. That Mark Wahlberg movie where the plants strike back?
