There is wind in the river valley, but feasibility studies show not nearly as much as in other parts of TX. It ranks among the weakest wind areas. I would’ve been more accurate in the title and said “not as much wind as other better sites” but “no wind” was shorter :-)
Right, the point is it’s positioning, grid vulnerability, China involvement, and suspect motivations.
Sorry man, I'm in the panhandle and we have the biggest wind project in the country in these parts. It's average for it to be 20mph and we've seen winds in excess of 75mph.

The Devils River is in the SW part of TX. Your area would be way better. Did you read the article? Panhandle is north...
