You had plenty of spare time and resources to commit election fraud, but not enough to do your actual fucking job. Don't worry, we won't forget, you're just lucky you're not the biggest issue currently.

Forget "Priority Mail"... I have a 3-day service business item enroute from Wisconsin to Florida that was sent the 8th... and has now been in tracking limbo for 5 days. USPS says "Covid and Christmas but you'll receive it someday".

One would think it was a box of ballots given the competency level!

We just took usps down from website. They don’t even scan tracking codes anymore. Customers call every day upset about delayed packages and no tracking information. Such a sham. Trump should gut the USPS.

Lol. How long did you wait on hold until you were able to speak to someone? Who probably hung up on you... or said that there was nothing they could do.

Almost have to bring it to the counter to get a pickup scan.

I did that Mon night at the main PO and had a 30 minute wait in line, out the door and all the way across the lobby

I too use USPS for shipping domestic orders. We sent a 2 day package on the 1st, it still hasn't left its origin state... And to top it off, it only has to cross one state to get to its destination.

Generally opening a missing mail complaint gets someone to find it and get it moving again.

My stuff goes about 80 miles west to a hub and then on from there, I mailed two the 10th that took three days just to show they passed through that.

Usually they're pretty good but since around mid-November it's slowed and gotten kind of spotty.

Chick-fill-eh 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lol. If you actually cared about the time you would use an actual shipping company, not the dmv equivalent.

But don’t worry, the Detroit USPS distribution center has a sign in front of it that says “heros work here”. I’m not joking.

I bet at least half the employees avatars say “I can’t stay home, I’m a postal worker.”

Yutrahkill 10 points ago +10 / -0 (edited)

I’m a postal worker in a technical support position. Our absolute biggest problem is the fucking unions. We have like 7 different unions and they make it completely impossible to fire anyone. And then even if we do fire anyone, our labor relations always settles with them and they get hired again anyways. It’s a broken system

Yeah I agree with you there. should have worded it “one of our biggest problems.” Most of our financial problems would be solved by fixing our contracts with Amazon and other mailers like Trump suggested

Yeah. WHERE IS MY DAMN STUFF!?

According to all the email updates from companies, everything will arrive today. Good. I expect to see no less than four damn trucks at my house. USPS. UPS. Fed Ex and Fed Ex Ground.

WHERE IS MY DAMN STUFF!?

True, they are my favorite. Delays from them are usually because of the company being slow to get it to them.

Latinalover 6 points ago +6 / -0 (edited)

Cut the workforce by 25% and make them earn their money. Postal workers are some of the most overpaid and lazy ppl on earth. I mailed a first class registered and returned receipt requested from Houston to DC on Nov 19. I just got my receipt back Dec 14. 1 month for a simple envelope and small receipt. Yet they can sift through votes for Biden and discard Trump votes on the fly and by the 10000s. The US postal service is a scam.

Supposedly my item shipped with the USPS from Arkansas on December 3rd but isnt supposed to get here, Louisiana, until tomorrow. Did they walk it down here? Did they go back to mail mules to be green? If only Trump could abolish the post office.

MTay 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes!! This pos company hasn’t delivered my fuckin package!!!

2
charwoman 2 points ago +2 / -0

I had a sad yesterday because I thought my Mom had forgotten my birthday. She called to see if I got the card she mailed last Wednesday. When I told her I hadn't, she said "it's not like it was a fricken Trump mail in ballot!" I love my Momma!

3
abetterreddit 3 points ago +3 / -0

How about we remove the 67% of the mail I receive that is total bullshit junk?

2
Txpede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Couldn’t agree more. Totally worthless. Goes straight into the trash can.

overwhelmed my ass. people dont even send paper christmas cards much anymore. i've been done with the usps for years.

3
happycamperval2 3 points ago +3 / -0

OR maybe if we weren’t subsidizing Amazon with our post office the USPS would be able to do their own jobs.

Now USPS is late AND Amazon is late bc Amazon gave the package to USPS.

Now Amazon is running off of taxpayer dollars as they build up their private company so that they can out-compete the poorly run post office....monopolies are fun. /s

3
Lowersidecustoms 3 points ago +3 / -0

They're probably overloaded with Amazon deliveries. The last 4 or 5 years I've had several problems with USPS, they've filed up with lazy incompetent employees. Anytime I've gotten a delivery from them in recent years that requires a signature they don't even attempt to get one, just sit on their ass and pop a card in the mailbox then I have to wait another day for my shit and have to go get it myself anyway. Fuck USPS, tear that shit down and rebuild.

4
Txpede 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes. Which sucks for every other small business trying to use the post office. FUCK AMAZON AND FUCK JEFF BEZOS!

Lowersidecustoms 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's like why "attempt delivery"? Just keep it at the post office and I'll come get it, instead of sending it out and making me wait another day for them to pretend they're going to deliver

Me either, I moved back to the country in Florida

3
DeePlorable 3 points ago +3 / -0

I stopped using the USPS because they charge outrageous prices to send packages now. They wanted to charge me $37 to send a package to my uncle that lives only 18 miles away.

I have a small online business and the average shipping price for any box that is under 5 pounds and just one inch over 12"x12"x12" costs my customers $40-$60!! The items I ship are not large or heavy either. We are all subsidizing Amazon's "Free Prime Shipping" and packages from Chyna.

3
PatrickDuffyLeg 3 points ago +3 / -0

No kidding! The line in my local branch is 3x what it normally is. I know it’s the holidays, but they seem short-staffed on the inside.

2
nunyadangbidness 2 points ago +2 / -0

They ARE short staffed. Surprisingly difficult to find anyone willing to work 12 hour shifts, 6-7 days/week for about $20/hr.

3
UnderCoverTrumper 3 points ago +3 / -0

The mail trucks near my house sit idle for hours at a time while the mail person scrolls on their phone. The post office probably should be disbanded.

2
marishiten 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only reason the USPS is even still operating is because they do the bitch work of UPS and FedEx. UPS and FedEx contracts USPS to deliver their shit for the final leg in a lot of rural places. If they didn't contract with them, they wouldn't be in business.

2
LibreFloridaMan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Privatize USPS!

2
ValkyrieHoneybadger 2 points ago +2 / -0

A package sent from AL to GA on 3 Dec went to SC then OH and now there is no current info.

I could have walked it from AL to GA quicker.

I am now using FedEx instead.

2
hansgruber7 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's crazy that we trust the USPS to handle our ballots when the USPS Union openly endorsed Beijing Biden. Conflict of Interest anyone?

Also if they spent more time delivering mail and packages instead of ripping open boxes and stealing out of them! Just had a package delivered by them that was ripped open. It was Christmas presents sent by family. They ripped open every present on the top and one was missing. All they do is commit crimes!

2
Kissmiarsehoe 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is part of what i dont understand. There is obviously a USPS conspiracy. Yet the FBI isn't investigating it. Noone has done any reporting on it. Yeah we got whistle blowers. What they are telling is evidence of a conspiracy.

2
honda_fast 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dissolve them and divvy it up to Fedex, UPS, etc...
