Its because it lines up perfectly with coronavirus seasonality. Coronaviruses flare up during winter and autumn, before disappearing again around march-april. So when it goes away in about 3 months, mr "president elect" can go, "Look! The masks helped! You can be free now!" Until october when it flares up again, and he can say "its back because no masks! We need to wear masks forever!" And the media will of course suck his dick, and blame everything on Trump.
