I'm interested in a factual and realistic analysis on whether or not President Trump has the political capital to pardon Assange, and whether or not it's a wise idea. I'm looking for reasoning that is not based in emotion, please. I "feel" the same way as you do. I'm a parent, it's unconscionable that Julian has young children who--correct me if I'm wrong--have never even been able to meet him in person? One is a six-year-old?
