This thing runs almost perfect on GeForce Now on ultra settings. Since I can’t get a PS5 for the life of me, this has been a godsend. Hope this helps some pedes!

I have a powerful gaming pc. I played it for 30 mins and returned it to steam. Such a disappointment. I loved Witcher 3. This game was overhyped and then under delivered. I’ll try it again in a year when it’s cheaper and hopefully most of the bugs are fixed.

Playing on base ps4 is a nightmare. Literally crashes 1-2 times an hour.
It only mostly happens if I’m doing crazy fast menu changes/hopping in out of maps, trying to do multiple things at once (call someone, walk near someone who has dialogue) but I’ve had plenty of times where literally my guy is just walking slow or standing still and it crashes.
Do you have an external HD? I only get crashes maybe every other time I play with it on a 2TB and everything else is minimal, manageable, or kinda fun/funny 🤷♀️
It does make the console run more efficiently, which is making the game run better. This is the closest to the one I got a few months ago and ANECDOTALLY, it has been SIGNIFICANTLY better for me. I replay FO4 every few months and even that’s going better now. You can choose to not try it and just shit all over the game or people trying to help other people and whine like a pussy or give it a shot, the drive is useful in it’s own right.

30 hours about. No crashes at all. I’ve seen typical western rpg/open world bugs like ... one t pose, some floating items, vehicles interacting poorly such as sudden explosion. The few bugs I’ve seen have been funny rather than infuriating so that helps my opinion of them. Like the boobs clipping through t shirts on day one. Lmao.

Running a Ryzen 3700X @ 3.6GHz a 2070 SUPER and 32gb Ram
DLSS basically uses AI to upscale a lower resolution image to a higher resolution in order to lessen the workload on a GPU that can't render at the desired resolution without the game becoming a sideshow.

I am having fun with the game but it was definitely all hype. The rpg aspect as really good and it seems your decisions are pretty complex with how they affect the story but other than that it’s an average game that looks amazing.
I actually hated it at first because I was comparing it to other games which we were told to expect it to be like, but now I just play it for what it is and found a way to enjoy it.

I consider it a true open world gamefish you can explore, but also if you can do/interact with everything and everyone however you want. Which was often limited in BotW.
Breath of the wild was amazing to explore, but there’s not much interaction outside of missions and story so you really only get one play through to experience the “new” feeling.

Can't speak for everyone but I was way more hyped with the lore and world of Cyberpunk than anything else. The gameplay is fun and has a lot of depth, but I'm really loving the atmosphere more than anything else.
That's not true from what I've seen so far - the very first main story mission can be played through drastically different depending on your decisions and who you interact with.
I don’t know, the whole cyberpunk thing is really a tale of two futuristic extremes where anarchy/libertarianism has this weird sort of co-existence with uber-authoritarian corporatism. Like privacy no longer exists but 2nd Amendment rights are also dialed up to 11 (kids walking around in the city street messing with loaded weapons). Free speech is taken to an extreme (explicit sex ads everywhere) yet corporations can virtually own their employees and seize their personal assets on a whim.
I don’t think it’s favoring one side or another, just a non-utopian vision of the future which frankly seems disturbingly probable.
I agree I think cyberpunks lore is more of a cautionary tale, many characters throughout the game point out the flaws in their society from many different angles. Some def come of more left wing then others and sure some things have a lefty slant but there is enough winks and nods to liberty minded people in there as well that on the whole it feels pretty balanced politically - at least compared to most of the trash in mainstream cinema and gaming these days...

I bought myself a gaming PC about 2.5 years ago, and since then my XBox One has been collecting dust. The only time I've really used my XBox One was for Red Dead Redemption 2, which was a console exclusive at the time it was released.

Stadia is legitimately free if you pay for the game. You can get the sub if you care about whatever games they have, but they don't make it mandatory.

Get 50-70fps depending on scenario at 1440p with Ray Tracing on Ultra (psycho brings it to its knees) and DLSS on auto.

DLSS basically uses AI to upscale a lower resolution image to a higher resolution in order to lessen the workload on a GPU that can't render at the desired resolution without the game becoming a sideshow.

If you have an nvidia card update the driver and use the game ready driver. I have had no crashes even before the 1.04 patch.

I am having fun with the game but it was definitely all hype. The rpg aspect as really good and it seems your decisions are pretty complex with how they affect the story but other than that it’s an average game that looks amazing.

I actually hated it at first because I was comparing it to other games which we were told to expect it to be like, but now I just play it for what it is and found a way to enjoy it.
As far as open world games goes, I think breath of the wild was the most groundbreaking game in that genre and the most well done. I think cyberpunk is a fun game but I don’t know why people thought it was the 2nd coming of Jesus with gaming.
My opinion is pretty much the opposite - I thought BotW felt kind of empty and devoid of content - CP77 is packed with things to see and interact with.
That’s interesting. I’m the reverse actually I thought Breath of the Wild, while a top tier game, probably in my top 10, was not as good if I viewed it as an open world game lol.
I consider it a true open world gamefish you can explore, but also if you can do/interact with everything and everyone however you want. Which was often limited in BotW.
Breath of the wild was amazing to explore, but there’s not much interaction outside of missions and story so you really only get one play through to experience the “new” feeling.
But that first experience playing it is definitely one of the best I think.
Can't speak for everyone but I was way more hyped with the lore and world of Cyberpunk than anything else. The gameplay is fun and has a lot of depth, but I'm really loving the atmosphere more than anything else.

That's not true from what I've seen so far - the very first main story mission can be played through drastically different depending on your decisions and who you interact with.
I don’t know, the whole cyberpunk thing is really a tale of two futuristic extremes where anarchy/libertarianism has this weird sort of co-existence with uber-authoritarian corporatism. Like privacy no longer exists but 2nd Amendment rights are also dialed up to 11 (kids walking around in the city street messing with loaded weapons). Free speech is taken to an extreme (explicit sex ads everywhere) yet corporations can virtually own their employees and seize their personal assets on a whim.
I don’t think it’s favoring one side or another, just a non-utopian vision of the future which frankly seems disturbingly probable.
I agree I think cyberpunks lore is more of a cautionary tale, many characters throughout the game point out the flaws in their society from many different angles. Some def come of more left wing then others and sure some things have a lefty slant but there is enough winks and nods to liberty minded people in there as well that on the whole it feels pretty balanced politically - at least compared to most of the trash in mainstream cinema and gaming these days...

I bought myself a gaming PC about 2.5 years ago, and since then my XBox One has been collecting dust. The only time I've really used my XBox One was for Red Dead Redemption 2, which was a console exclusive at the time it was released.

Perkus Maximus made Skyrims stats so much better it was just a pain to install for.a normie

It works great on modern hardware (I have it on PC and I love it) but I agree that folks trying to run this on older hardware got taken for a ride. CDPR should have been up front about this game really only being suitable for high-end PCs and new consoles (or at least sold the ps4/xbox versions at a steep discount).
