He just sold us out under the table. He's worse than Bitch Mitch who at least has the balls to tell us to move on to our faces.

Huh? He isn't wrong. He didn't say we do nothing now.

Riggers-gonna-rig 48 points ago +49 / -1

Exactly, we have a limited number of prominent elected officials on our side, Rand is one of them, let's not get nitpicky.

NO! We must burn all bridges.

The blame doesn't lie with people who had 2+ years to fix or at least monitor this shit.

I guess Israel needed all those manpower hours though.

Here he is. Throwing his hands up and only caring about reinforcing the law in the future. He has given up 2020.

29
Dereliction 29 points ago +29 / -0

He acknowledged the election being stolen. He admonished that the problems must be fixed. He didn't in any way indicate that the fight for this election is or should be over.

3
LosPepesContra [S] 3 points ago +7 / -4

As of today not a single Republican Senator has pledged to challenge the election as per Mitch's guidance. If the RINOS and Rand Paul don't care about 2020 then move along. But don't expect Trump level support in 2022 and on.

6
Dereliction 6 points ago +6 / -0

Paul has already hinted that he may be the Senator we need soon. And he knows about as well as anyone what the country is facing. It's way too early to say he's called it quits on 2020.

LosPepesContra [S] 0 points ago +3 / -3

Good. Let him know this "in the future" talk is BS. Needs to be challenged now.

2
JerryNadlerBeltFund 2 points ago +4 / -2

It's waaaaaaayyyyy too early to be talking about future elections. A lot can happen between now and Jan 20. Even between Jan 6 and Jan 20.

He says the only way forward is to ensure it doesn't happen again. . . NOPE. The way to prevent it in the future is to round up the perpetrators from this year. If that means a lot of "help wanted" to replace jailed election workers across the country, so be it.

55
sustainable_saltmine 55 points ago +55 / -0

yeah it happened, which means THIS ELECTION IS NULL AND VOID. There won't be a next time. We can NEVER "Forgive it and move on". It needs to be fixed NOW, not "for the future"

How about this:

This situation we're currently in is nothing like your fire analogy. That situation (the fire) is happening and over in an hour. The actions needed to be taken are obvious and simple. There are no disagreements over what should be done. Public awareness, perception, and opinion on the matter have no impact on what the firemen do or are allowed to do. It is is an oversimplification to the point of absurdity.

Same as the Black Lives Matter vs All Lives Matter argument. The fire analogy fails there as well for much the same reason.

Get it?

He is correct. Stop getting upset every time any single sentence doesn't meet every last criteria for you. It is perfectly reasonable to state we need to fix future elections.

Conservatives will never fix This...Conservatives will conserve and protect the corrupt System that destroys everything they claim to cherish.. Conservatism is Dead, its an ideology of failure and ideology the Marxist use as a Reactionary lever, a controllable opposition, and a fake foil to there continual march to Utopia..

Stop fucking conserving and start Fighting... Do you think the patriots that carved this nation out of the wilderness where "conservative", do you think our founders that threw off the British Empire where conservative? No our founders where Radicals they strung conservatives up on trees and killed them to create this Nation..

Look Mittens, our election has been stolen. If you and your GOP RINOs don't stop talking about next time then your party is dead. It needs to be fixed now.

As of today not a single Republican Senator has pledged to challenge the election as per Mitch's guidance. If you RINOS don't care about 2020 then move along. But don't expect Trump level support in 2022 and on.

3

Did you ever consider he is close to Trump and waiting for the go ahead?

-2
LosPepesContra [S] -2 points ago +4 / -6

Hi Mrs. Paul. I heard him say exactly what I posted. If your husband wants to worry about the future tell him he needs to worry about now.

3
Freebird 3 points ago +4 / -1

For fucks sake, not every sentence Rand Paul says needs to say that. You are being unreasonable.

-3
LosPepesContra [S] -3 points ago +2 / -5

After Bitch Mitch yesterday, I don't trust either Republican from KY. Words are signals. Rand Paul ignoring the now for the future is a bad signal to put out. Mitch must've threatened him.

3
Freebird 3 points ago +5 / -2

Rand Paul is probably the most solid guy out there. I understand wanting results now but we have to assume anything that is going to happen will be planned and coordinated.

Look here Mittens, election has been stolen. And Mitch's bitch wants to forget 2020 and move on. Nope. Until some Republican Senators grow a pair, like Mo Brooks in the House, and call right now to challenge this election today then I am going to be so unchilled.

Take your GOP/RINO BS to Reddit.

So far Senator Johnson seems to be the only one that understands. Except currently maybe Senator Lankford, who is currently speaking.

1
LosPepesContra [S] 1 point ago +3 / -2

I took Ron Johnson as a RINO. But the part I tuned into saw him spitting mad. Maybe the Democrat slander about him spreading Russian disinformation will infuriate him to buck the GOP and fight for us.

5
Peep45 5 points ago +5 / -0

So far he's the only one saying we need to fix THIS Election

0

Platitudes if you are ignoring the now and only talking about the future.

I dont see how this is a surrender of this election though. He is right we do need to prevent this in the future. We can say that and not give up on the 2020 election

You do realize that the only use this oversight hearing has is to educate the public on what happened and how to prevent it in the future. I agree there is no point in any future elections if we don't straighten this out but that's not their job. If Trump went scorched earth on all of this 4 days after the election it would have shocked a lot of normies...by slow rolling all these hearings and committees with their allowed discovery he is slowly getting the population to understand that something drastic is going to happen. That way they aren't totally shocked when all these "In the open" traitors are arrested. It won't be a surprise. I think this is something that is intentional...who the hell knows for sure. But that committee is set up to work for the future not remedy what has happened. Just go easy Bud...Trump will sort this out not Rand Paul.

What we need to do is figure out how many votes your RINO senator won by in your state. Say 40k? Then get at least 20k people who voted for him to pledge to vote for the other guy unless they fight for Trump. Then send the names and pledges.
