I'd give the name of the shop but I'm not sure she was supposed to do that. Did not look like she was the owner of the shop

Went to Seattle once. Nice place except for the thousands of homeless and the Libtard/Democrat mafia

Patriot456 17 points ago +17 / -0

Also visited Seattle once. Can concur regarding the homelessness.

I used to go there from Portland every weekend in 1999-2000. It was nice. So was Portland. I'd probably appalled if I visited either now. Sounds an awful lot like LA. LA is fucking gross.

I’m in Portland. This place needs to burn to the ground in order to fix anything.

That sucks. I lived there in 98-99 and it was awesome. Shouda known it would turn to shit because of how many bohemians were there. Felt like woodstock near the burnside bridge on saturday

From the area, can confirm this is still true. The leftists keep the area on a tight enough leash that the right leaning population has no idea they're in the majority.

Am coming back to visit next summer. Let's meet at the gum wall and trade rare Pepes over New England's best clam chowder.

When I was there I saw only one open carry and it was a pistol. When I watched footage during CHAZ, I noticed a lot more people with a lot bigger guns. If they didn't know, they do now.

I've lived in the Seattle area my whole life. You pretty much nailed it. Hoping not to have to relocate.

I have a libtard friend who lives there (I'm charitable, I know) who explained that the homeless are backed up because they don't have resources to accommodate for them. Sure, maybe, but I'm from a shithole city with a bunch of homeless too. Most of them get kicked out for refusal to follow rules. You could give them new clothes, a roof, hot meals all for free and they still wouldn't want to work.

I love the art and music that's going on everywhere but apparently that's a bigger priority than getting thousands of homeless off the street.

I guess when you have a team like the Seahawks you need all the tourist dollars you can get.

Went again today to test it out and a black girl behind the counter seemed shocked i wasn't wearing it and quickly asked me to put it on. Maybe it was just the one girl then.

I love it here. Nowhere else I'd rather live. That said, we're looking to move. Ha.

The heroes we need!

I salute you and shopkeep!

Hopefully she wasn't trolling you and gave you the donut she dropped on the ground....

Seriously, watch yourself out there. Freaking lunatics everywhere.

bananaguard62 [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

I walked in and she didn't have her mask on right away, so I took mine off. People are crazy out here, but I've only been asked a few times to put it on and I politely tell them I'll just shop elsewhere.

7
Patriot456 7 points ago +7 / -0

YEAHHHHHH!! Good for you, dude! And good for the brave business owner! YES!

7
DickPils 7 points ago +7 / -0

I almost had to physically fight someone yesterday for not wearing a mask so...hopefully sooner than later!

6
bananaguard62 [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've had that too. I got film of an apple security guard threatening to "beat my ass" because I wasn't wearing a mask. I put my shirt over my face and then explained that we're both breathing through thin fabric, so what's the difference. He was not amused and, believe it or not, lost his job because of it.

DickPils 1 point ago +1 / -0

I just give them stats and shame them for being a baby. Nothing like telling a grown man to clutch his binkie if it makes him feel better. Actually makes them dig up some personal pride for the first time probably in months

I live in Snohomish County. Where's this donut shop so I can go buy donuts there too?

2
Postal 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm north of you a few counties and want to go there

People on both sides are fed up with restrictions and are fighting back.. ask Gov Newsom. If not we'll have to change the ending of our national anthem to the land of the REEEEE...

Thanks for the story. In western Wa it's almost becoming like a zombie movie where you find survivors who can actually see through the craziness.

2
Teqsan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great stuff! I love taking my 5 y/o daughter out in public with me. Neither of us mask up of course. She tells everyone wearing masks, “masks are dumb”, “masks will make you get sick” and the best one is “Trump 2020”. I feel so PROUD of my sweet baby girl.

Phil_DeGraves 2 points ago +2 / -0

Barr probably wants to know if any local KFCs are offering the same pricing promotion!

Ok, this beats the hell out of 'everyone clapped'.

2

Is that a young Willem Dafoe?

1
Carlos142857 1 point ago +1 / -0

PM me the store, I'll buy a couple dozen for the office.

2
bananaguard62 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Went back today and was immediately asked to put a mask on. It was apparently a lone pede working yesterday. Not surprising given Seattle.

1
Postal 1 point ago +1 / -0

Tell me that is a bacon maple bar

1
bananaguard62 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is not. I went back today and got one with bacon... it wasn't bad. They worked together, without taking away from the other, but I'd rather eat them separate. Maybe I'm weird, maybe you're weird. I can't tell. Ha.

I'm also in Washington state near Seattle, can you drop any hints?

Ha. I've heard Bob the trainer, Michael Fassbender, Dafoe, and even Corky Romano. No worries

My favorite local donut joint closed because of Wuflu.

Now all I have left is crappy Dunkin Donuts & Tim Hortons (maybe other DDs & THs are fine, but the ones near me taste like cheap and stale garbage).

blumpkinblake 0 points ago +1 / -1

I am also a Seattle pede. There's a food truck near me that doesn't require masks so I always go there

-1
The_banned -1 points ago +2 / -3

What's that on your neck there, fren? You better be fuckin cold or something...

4
bananaguard62 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ha. Truth be told, I actually love my gator. I work as a private investigator so I get to conceal my face and go with a new look everywhere I tail someone. New hat, New gator, I'm a new person.

-1
The_banned -1 points ago +2 / -3

Nice. The mask pandemic must make your job a lot easier.

2
bananaguard62 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Indeed! And in Seattle people will be wearing them for years. Its great... in one specific way. Ha.
