THIS! At the very beginning, 3 nurses I know (1 cousin, 2 friends) were all saying the same thing, in private. Nothing made sense. Every death was being marked as a COVID death. 1 friend even went as far as to say "if you jumped out of a plane, an your parachute didn't open. And you exploded on the ground. They would mark you down as COVID"
I currently have a coworker who's father passed away due to his age. They tested him for COVID and he didn't have it. Coworker got word that they marked his death as COVID, so he is now fighting to figure out why that happened.
This is all bullshit. All 3 nurses I know have gone through some amount of furlough as well due to the hospitals being empty. People were rescheduling surgeries because they were afraid to come in, which ALSO lowered the amount of money these hospitals were making.
The riggers at her job said it was racist and made them feel uncomfortable that she didn't support BLM. Now it's in her records as a disciplinary action or something.

So bottom line, there are actually far LESS people in the hospital right now than normal.

They increased staffing levels to the point they've never had it easier. Hates the whole hero worship thing, thinks its embarassing to be praised for doing his job , but he says many of his colleagues are eating it up. Clown world truly.
I went to the hospital during "peak covid" back in May and 90% of the hospital was shut down, lights off. The parking lot was empty, and they only had one hospital entrance open.
