That's why we need to take over the GOP and fix it.

No. By getting out from behind your keyboards and going to a damn republican meeting, if you aren’t already, you have to shame and mentally beat down the RINOs in every city, precinct, county, or whatever your local government calls it. Get elected or work to elect at the grass roots level people that represent us and our beliefs. I was a republican precinct chairman in austin Texas (on the east side). I quit because I was frustrated with the system. I should not have. I now live elsewhere but I am getting back into it. The rinos didn’t quit. The liberals definitely don’t quit. Nobody is going to do it for you. It is possible to win the meme war and lose the real war if we don’t get off our asses.

I just said this. It's our fault, too, for not taking our responsibility seriously as citizens. The government is supposed to represent us, but they never see us.

It's down to the nitty gritty and I can't blame everything on the left. So let's show the world how patriots can get stuff done

Nope. By getting involved with the party at a local level.

So we should spend the next 40+ years playing their game by playing musical chairs with whatever Reps the GOP decides we are allowed to run? Nah man.

MAGA candidates will be spurned the second Trump is out of the picture. GOP is swamp.

Ask the Tea Party how well that worked out.

You can't change the Republican party, no matter how much you want to. The swamp runs too deep and if 2020 hasn't made that abundantly clear, it never will be.

A new party filled exclusively with verified Trump supporters is the only way the MAGA movement doesn't disappear. We'd lose some battles at first, but it took a few cycles for the Republicans to displace the Whigs, too. This argument that we have to support Team Red because Team Blue is worse has lead us to where we are: we finally get a real patriot in office and everyone stabs him in the back.
