Sounds like they are going to "gamify" news watching from reading the article. Meaning, readers will be verified using block-chain tech, and therefore, stories cannot go viral or have much veracity with bot-nets upping the read or comment counts on any news story.
Here's my basic understanding.
Blockchain creates a distributed network of nodes around the world. The biggest barrier to entry for video sharing (youtube) is bandwidth and storage. Blockchain is a way around that because the load is handled by hosts on the network. Additionally, each record is immutable so it couldn't be changed and makes it easier to monetize with crypto coins/tokens.
See Bitschute for an example.
Disclaimer: I may not have all the terminology correct.
i agree, not a panacea. blockchain is only as strong as the support and rate of use seen in the population. personally, i'd like to see more favorable IRS regulations to simulate its use as a means of exchange. the banks have fucked us - time to fuck back.
Best use cases I see the fastest which would result in cost reductions and cutting fat would be title of all types for all asset classes. Thus reducing escrow costs if needed at all depending on the smart contracts No title or escrow company needed anymore to sell hard asset such as homes, art, cars, boats, etc
Start on the simple industries that create friction and don't reveal more than is already available. This gets adoption rates higher then we can work on fucking the banks out of their margins and fiat.
And here I was getting shit for mentioning a media company from the Trump team coming out yesterday. Someone in the family was going to and not being a doomer or a shill. This is a good twist potentially
Back in the day? She still is
But also canβt believe she married him either haha can you imagine waking up to him every morning ew

Sounds plausible. More signal less noise
I don't know much about it. But maybe it gets rid of stealth edits? So slightly more transparent?
is this a signal that blockchain industry could get more fair treatment in a trump 2.0?
Blockchain always could get fair treatment just it isn't the panacea which many of the biggest advocates say it is.

Never really thought about that. ^^ big-brain pede over here βοΈππ

Wow, those guys are really a good fit for that I think.
More good news. This is very good.
Where's Tim Pool (and Ian) on this? Should be up his alley using block-chain tech for news.
The blockchain is not a good match for this.
