Read my original comment, I don't think anyone should be forced to do anything, but your argument that wearing masks don't prevent the spread of the virus is dumb. Even if your argument is that the study only is in regards to covid patients, someone could be A-Symptomatic and still have the virus, but they just didn't realize they had it... Or, they aren't A-Symptomatic, but have the virus and aren't presenting symptoms yet.
Like I said, I don't think anyone should be forced to wear a mask or shut down, but arguing that wearing a mask legitimately does nothing is silly.
Notice it said 'Covid patient' in the sentence about the effectiveness.
