Texas is always fighting and never giving up. We should learn from Texas.

I've given Governor Abbott a lot of shit with the whole mask garbage, but I seen the basedness of him in the past being the ONLY gov suing the snot out of the 0bama admin.

We'll see how it all plays out pedes.

The real question. Is it Abbott as much as it is the Soros bought District Attorneys in Dallas and Houston counties and other places where they're enforcing mask restrictions?

Kanime1224 9 points ago +9 / -0

Its abbott and those guys as well. He still hasn't opened us back up 100% and many places even where its not inforced are forceful about it. Open texas up 100% like Florida. And no more mask bullshit

This is why Biden can never be President.

The Union will dissolve.

Preserving the Union means Trump term 2.

fwgr 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’ve been thinking about it and wonder if secession might really be on the table. I can imagine a future where the southern states secede and it be allowed to happen since I doubt the left would have the appetite to fight a war to keep all the “racist bitter clingers” in the union. Bonus points if southern leftists moved north and vice versa. My biggest worry would be securing the southern border and fighting against cartel incursion in Texas and New Mexico, and making sure all the leftist garbage in the major cities gets transported North before the paperwork is signed.

Once the electorate loses faith in the process of selecting leaders, a country doesn't have much time left. The concept of No Taxation Without Representation becomes very real.

And given the COVID situation and Bidens stated desire to put us into full lockdown again, I could see things deteriorating quickly. Even those who feel they can tolerate a Biden presidency for 4 years won't want another lockdown.

So a single state defies the Presidential lockdown. Then what? Other states join in refusing. How would Biden react? Ignore them? Then the federal government shows its powerless. Deny them federal funds? So now states whose leaders are forced on them via fraud are still required to pay taxes yet are denied those funds?

Like I said earlier, the only way to preserve the union is a Trump presidency. Even though there will be riots and chaos, it's the only way.

Go Texas!

Why do they have standing this time?

5
MAGALogic 5 points ago +5 / -0

Election certification. Supposedly they have been harmed now. Time will tell.

Thanks for the leads! I already use Brave with DuckDuckGo. I'll have to look into everything else. 'Cept Gab. I use Parler. And I have no idea how to get Linux on my laptop.

Linux is a garbage desktop operating system.

Pop os is my new go too. Dual boot with windows because I have a few games that aren't compatible. Thats about it.

2
ThePowerOfPrayer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not true at all.

The only reason to run Windows is refusal/stubbornness to try new things OR you need a Windows specific software that does not run well in a Windows virtual machine OR video games not supported by Linux.

You should see how awesome an OS that runs smoothly in 2020 on 2 cores and 4-8GB RAM does on a computer with 16 cores and 64 GB RAM if you dare to back up your statement.

Edit - Deleted comment said Linux sucks, basically.

Linux desktop has been garbage, but let's look at the trends:

  1. My 32GB OSX laptop leaks memory like a sieve and needs a reboot once a week to keep up with the memory leaks and all the updates. OSX is going downhill and has been for about 3 years or so. My keychain also continually breaks.

  2. WIndows is the same way and has been getting worse since XP. Windows is also a privacy nightmare.

  3. Linux Desktop is getting better every year. It's now usable.

I've been a huge apple laptop fan for 10 years but my next laptop will be Linux

This is the future. Free states are going to start banding together and suing everything from corporations to the federal government.

Suing isn't gonna be worth jack fucking shit if we don't stop the steal.

We're just about one month away from the third box officially being spent and worthless. We either open the 4th box, or we resign ourselves to subjugation.

2
ZeroDeltaTango 2 points ago +2 / -0

A month is an eternity for Trump. Besides, the battle is already won before it's begun.

Trump is so not leaving office, everyone please exit the doomroom

The content of that Tweet link: Texas and nine other states sued Google on Wednesday, accusing it of working with Facebook Inc in an unlawful manner that violated antitrust law to boost its already-dominant online advertising business.

Good hockey team in Big D too

Enjoyed watching them in the Stanley Cup Final against muh Bolts

Go Bolts

2
txladyvoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Watched as they actually won the Stanley Cup in 1999.

2
ZeroDeltaTango 2 points ago +2 / -0 (edited)

Same here. Even more memorable in that series than Hasek's insanely acrobatic netminding was when Brett Hull scored the Cup-winning goal(*) while illegally standing in the goal crease. Buffalo Sabres refused for a long ten minutes to shake hands with the Stars or even join them on ice for the ceremony. There was no Stop the Steal movement back then, so the Sabres just had to swallow the illicit loss. (Refs later revealed their reasoning was that Hull HAD possessed the puck legally in the crease; then he stayed there while stickhandling the puck for an instant OUT of the crease, then back in to score. They had never ruled that was legal once during the entire season, hence the controversy for the Cup-winning goal FFS.)

NHL was forced to change the rule for the 1999-2000 season to legalize Hull's tactic of being in the crease without the puck, as long as one doesn't interfere with the goaltender. That favorable rule change still stands today. Just wish they had done it before Hull got the asterisk. He was a magical, legendary goal scorer. I was fortunate to see him score over 80 in St. Louis one year thanks to Adam Oates, who could pass like Gretzky.
