I’m not much of the praying type myself but I’m really hurting Pedes. My wife was admitted to the hospital with the China virus on Monday, everything seemed procedural until this morning when they said she needed to be intubated. She’s currently in the ICU and is being given Remdesivir, a steroid and convalescent plasma. Pedes I’m scared and I don’t want to lose my wife.

Prayers and well wishes. What about a nebulizer? I heard physicians saying they used a simple inhaler (like an asthmatic would) to reduce inflammation of the lungs and had nearly 100% recovery rate. Might be worth looking into.
Just to follow up the same physicians were saying that it isn't a lack of oxygen that is the problem, that it is an auto-immune response Covid causes and that increasing oxygen via a ventilator in effect explodes people's lungs.
