I’m not much of the praying type myself but I’m really hurting Pedes. My wife was admitted to the hospital with the China virus on Monday, everything seemed procedural until this morning when they said she needed to be intubated. She’s currently in the ICU and is being given Remdesivir, a steroid and convalescent plasma. Pedes I’m scared and I don’t want to lose my wife.

UPDATE: I truly appreciate everyone praying for my wife. Currently her condition has not improved but it has not gotten any worse. They want to ween here off of the ventilator which is what I want because I’ve read the dangers of them. They want to see if the current medications she’s on will start to make a impact before trying anything new. I’ve asked her doctor about ivermectin and regeneron, they said they do not have regeneron and they follow a standard regimen for COVID patients. They seem extremely hesitant to trying anything new and would discussed how they are always reading the latest info and if something looks promising they’re for trying it. I can’t seem to be able to convince them to give her ivermectin. It’s extremely frustrating because if what she’s getting isn’t making a difference I want them to try every available option. For anyone that asked her name is Patricia. We live in Denver. Thank you again everyone for your support. This community is extremely special. Because of it I’ve been able to ask her doctors questions I never would have thought of and try to recommend options I also wouldn’t have known of. Thank you.

Can you pray for me too please? My wife is seeking divorce and I'm a wreck. Thank you

You can make it. Divorce is hard. Stay strong. Find a church. I went through a surprise divorce. Wasn’t fun. Being a wreck is the normal reaction to your situation, it means your human. 🙏🏻

Check how much zinc her doctors are giving her. I believe very high doses for a short period have been shown to be safe, and helpful for the common cold at least: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5418896/

An article about zinc and COVID: https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20200923/could-zinc-help-fight-covid-19

Are they giving her dexamethasone?

This is stella Immanuel's clinic. They did a quick phone call and I got my hcq fast.

25
Myzlplix 25 points ago +25 / -0

thanks for this link!

Did you get HCQ for standby just in case or was it to treat a current covid infection?

reason I ask is because I get a severe bronchial infection that goes borderline pneumonia every winter and if I were to be exposed to covid at the same time It would more than likely take me out. I like to have stuff on hand just in case.

22
Infectedblood 22 points ago +22 / -0

I got HCQ from online doc also and am taking it now. I’m a frontline worker and have high risk health issues. Also used some for a couple of high risk family members early on when they became sick with Kung Flu. It’s hard to say how much HCQ helped since I and family have been taking zinc, vitamin c, d, etc.since beginning of March, all of family recovered. Another family member didn’t take any zinc, etc..and wound up in the hospital. It’s better to have it and not need it, once you or a loved starts feeling ill. I would get a prescription now and get it filled it takes a few days to get in the mail if you order online. Only other option is to find a doctor you trust and would be willing to prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin.

22
sm0kie420 22 points ago +22 / -0

They prescribe both. First as a prophylactic. They give you a 6 month supply of hcq which you take every other week. They recommend zinc, vitamin c and d supplements, which you get on your own. The prescription is good at any pharmacy, but they can also mail it to you.

If you have an active covid infection they also prescribe azithromycin.

I signed up on the website got a call from them later that night. And paid their pharmacy over the phone.

Stella Immanuel was on the candace owens show, thats how I found out about her site.

You can also get HCQ this way:

https://corsination.com/covid-19/

And people have said this way:

https://speakwithanmd.com/

This one might, I would call first to make sure they'll do it:

https://www.doctalkgo.com/crescent/

========================

I do this any time I feel sniffles coming on. Like eyes watering, sneezing, itchy or painful throat, anything that feels like a cold coming on. And then I don’t get the cold.

Spray one of these in your nose:

https://www.amazon.com/NUTRIBIOTIC-Nasal-Spray-Plus-oz/dp/B00171KTP2

https://www.amazon.com/Xlear-Nasal-Spray-Sinus-Relief/dp/B000M4W2E6

Spray some propolis in your throat:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019ND0DU6

Or another brand.

Put some drops of colloidal silver in your eyes:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XQF5SXU/

Or another brand.

Also, manuka honey breaks up biofilms. It's amazing, take it right away. Investigate so you know you're getting a good one.

Until you get the HCQ buy quercetin online and have your good zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D on hand

So I have some 200 mg pills, but I know that's too much. What was the prescription that you got for? Like how many milligrams and what was your schedule?

2
sm0kie420 2 points ago +2 / -0

One 200mg tablet every other week with a c d and zinc

2
juicedagod 2 points ago +2 / -0

so in theory, I could take one today with my daily dose of vitamins, correct? And then I wouldn't need to take it again for another 2 weeks?

2
sm0kie420 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well my bottle said:

Hydrochloroquine 200mg Take two tablets, then one tablet a week for two weeks. Then one tablet every other week.

It might be to jump start the zinc process in case you get infected before the protection fully kicks in.

"Whats more likely is they will try to push a different Zinc ionophore to try to squeeze money out of leading up to the commercial release of a vaccine, so soon."

-Me 4 months ago

Thats ivermectin. Its essentially just HCQ with more side effects. Its also about 10x more expensive. And if thats not enough, the third major clinical trial is being bankrolled by Bill Gates. They want to push HCQ because it works, but wont because its not profitable. Also, orange man bad. So basically any other zinc ionophore would suffice as i said in my post. Even in the prior hcq+zinc usage on cancer tumors i speak about, ivermectin is substituted for the hcq to deliver the zinc.

Thanks. I use topical ivermectin already to treat a skin condition. It’s actually for horses so I’m familiar w this. Although I haven’t been able to find capsules / pills containing ivermectin.

Is there a chance my doc would prescribe it if I’m convincing and give him the research, or is it highly unlikely?

Thanks!

It’s a telemedicine appointment $90, and they will overnight the meds to you so you don’t have to worry about a pharmacy refusing to fill the prescription.

2
Donald 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you! This is great. However I was more interested in getting Ivermectin, do you think they’d also be keen on prescribing that considering they’re so aware of the benefits of HCQ, you’d think they might do both?

I was mostly interested in getting Ivermectin prescribed. But this is good to know as HCQ is also on my radar. I googled to get the info about their changed stance on it but found this disputing that claim. Is this fake news? Seems like AMA tweeted saying they did not change their position. https://www.10tv.com/mobile/article/news/verify/ama-stance-hydroxy-covid-unchanged/507-76cac7cc-bd0d-4c21-8771-06949c2220ae

7
MW23232 7 points ago +7 / -0

Demand it - put your foot down. Both HCQ and Ivermectin can be taken at same time, IIRC, not positive, but pretty sure, and a drug interaction check can be done easily, and both have been on the market for 70 years and 40 years, respectively and are safe. Dr. P. Kory - says as little as one dose of Ivermectin is effective. https://www.youtube.com/embed/Tq8SXOBy-4w?hd=1&color1=0x666666

Remdisivir - SMH. They've tried it on several diseases, but IDK - I don't even think Wikipedia can claim that it actually cures anything. Sure is expensive tho.

We are all praying for you both, and the power of prayer ... works miracles. Hope to hear some good news soon!

31
SomeDiggity [S] 31 points ago +31 / -0

It’s a tough choice to make. Praying for your grandmother.

3
AdamBomb 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you can increase her O2 to acceptable levels without utilizing extremely intrusive methods (such as intubation) please explore those first. If her lungs were already damaged by an immune response then invasive procedures may cause further irritation.

Put her on some kind of oxygen therapy device to get her O2 levels up. If that's not enough put her on some kind of non-invasive breathing device (think CPAP) which achieves a similar effect as intubation.

2
JohnR23 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, she was on a BiPAP, which is similar to CPAP, and it helped quite a bit. I think that refusing intubation was the right thing, and it made her last day better.

1
JohnR23 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is a tough choice, but it wasn’t tough for her. She had made her decision to refuse mechanical life support many years ago, and she defended her choice from all sides. Ultimately, while mechanical intubation would have probably prolonged her life, it would not have been for very long, and her final day was much better without it.

I recognized after she passed that it was the best thing for her. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and given 3 months(with treatment), about 2 years ago. In that borrowed time she was able to get all of her affairs in order, including telling everyone who gets what. She held 2 more great grandchildren and we all found more reasons to visit her. She was still slowly declining but was able to maintain herself, her friendships, and her home. She was able to host Thanksgiving, and she truly enjoyed it. She also knew the risks that she was taking and found them acceptable. In the end she passed in a relatively short amount of time, with her children by her side. Knowing her, she would have hated wasting away on hospice, and she would have hated having her children taking care of her all the time, and that’s what she would have faced with her cancer.

I don’t know your specific situation, it was just cathartic to write this down.

I will continue to pray for you, your wife, and your family. May you be given the strength that you need, the support that you seek, and the best outcome for your situation.

12
You-bastard 12 points ago +12 / -0

I think this is smart. Holding off on that mechanical help might be the difference that helps recover quicker.

Don’t let them keep her intimated long term, bad for the lungs. The intubation is the killer

🙏 dude...Do not be afraid to ask questions to these "medical experts". My coworkers FIL just died in illionois "of covid". Had diabetic and heart issues which was why he was admitted in the first place. Then while there they randomly test him for covid, he goes + on the test, they give him no meds to treat, just stuck him on a vent. 10 days later he dies. Im not into medical conspiracies but something is very sinister with the way these hospitals and clinic are treating this. They dont give symptomatics anything, just send them home. Then if fever doesnt go away they go to hospital and vent them. I feel like they are purposely fucking people over. The idea that hospitals get 30k extra per vent patient is disturbing AF.

Alex Jones has warned about people being killed by ventilators, intentionally and unintentionally.

I hate thinking like this but at the same time my gut and many others out there have felt the same thing. Something about this whole thing is very very evil. No other way to describe it.

Prayers to the OPs wife bro.

I know nurses who say it's absolutely being pushed on the ignorant brainwashed people who show up and they have any excuse.

She even told me a story of a shared look among the nurses when they were telling a man they were intubating him. They are being pushed to do this by admins and doctors are complying in many cases when they know they shouldn't.Administrators threaten layoffs if hospitals dont make enough. If you have family they are trying to do this to don't allow it unless they are completely unable to breath.

Athena144 4 points ago +4 / -0

$13K per Covid patient and $39K per ventilator... as always, follow the $$$

6
Athena144 6 points ago +6 / -0

This. Get her off the intubator. This same thing happened to Bevelyn Beatty, she went into the hospital for a stab wound (defending an old white man from crazy BLM teens attacking him) and when she got there they told her she had Covid (???) and soon stuck a tube in her lung which then got infected. She's a hardcore evangelist and rallied her community to get her on the HCQ and out of there, they petitioned super hard and wouldn't leave the hospital alone until she was free. This is a SCAM and people need to wake up to what some of these hospitals are doing all in the interests of $$$

learntocode 3 points ago +4 / -1

Neighbor is a emergency room nurse. Says she does shifts at two local hospitals and once people show up and get intubated they are dead in less than a day a lot of the time.

Likely a bunch of factors coming together on that but those machines are not a good scene. Too much has to be perfect for them to work and not destroy your lungs, starve your body of air, etc.

Thank you, I won't claim to understand what's involved scientifically but have heard too many stories to believe they're just "coincidence."

I am a bit freaked out that almost everyone is just offering this poor guy thoughts and prayers if the reality might be that he needs to do more serious research and possibly get wifey TFO of there asap.

I don't know the full picture details here, but my intuition alarm bells are going off and I was surprised that everyone in the thread was being so supportive of the medical industry. The only thing I do know is that it is NOT to be trusted carte blanche and especially not this year. I'm not blaming individual doctors because many of them definitely have good intentions, but rather the industry overall. I learned the hard way to ALWAYS do your own research, get a second opinion, do NOT trust blindly in them. Some of the worst mistakes of my life.

I honestly don't mean to scare you OP but I am very concerned, there were so many videos over the summer from nurses who were horrified about what was going on. My SO's dad also got intubated randomly two years ago for something TOTALLY unrelated and it was super sketchy, he hasn't been the same since. I don't know what they are doing with that but when I heard the story about Beatty from a coworker the other day, all of my internal alarm bells went off.

sAYING A PRAYER. May God bless her and restore her body. Please take care of yourself. My cousin was 50 and passed from this--he did not have the benefit of the medicine--i pray the medicine will help your wife. Any idea on whether regeneron or the other Lily's antibodies can be given to her?

14
SomeDiggity [S] 14 points ago +14 / -0

I’m going to ask them about regeneron. So far they have said they’ve given her what they could.

1
Poneegryl 1 point ago +1 / -0

Demand it. trump said it would be available to all. It cured him!

Do you think they only make one vial? Gilead is a giant pharmaceutical! Drs are giving REGENERON right here in my small ass town in nowheresville texas. It was in our local 3 page paper for fcks sake! This is the problem though. Slow spread of information means more dead.

Praying for you both.

btw there are many reasons she could have been moved to ICU. COVID patients are under the spotlight at the moment, that cocktail of drugs can have side effects which you want to be on top of in case there is any change in status, might have been more "infectious diseases" beds available in ICU, etc.

Start putting together the list of stuff you guys are going to do once she recovers.
