If we all got together with friends and family and this discussion were had, we would quickly realize very few of us know any healthy person who's had severe sickness, and the media would lose it's control on how we perceive this grand deception. Therefore, the shutdowns continue.

I know three. Aside from the loss of taste and smell, it was like a mild cold to all of them. And one of them is very high risk.

Oh severe sickness. No one.

My 95 year old grandmother just tested positive this week.... zero symptoms

My sister and her entire family of 5 had it in November as did a lot of their friends. Was basically a mild flu, except a lot of them lost their sense of taste and smell.

I know 2 people. One a close personal friend of over 20+ years. He recovered in less than 10 days. The other person another close friend of 8 years, he was told he had it for several weeks. I mean all he can go off of is what his doc says right?

I had it in Jan, was shit for a few weeks. Its not that the virus does not exist, it is just that the measures they have put in place are ridiculous and do not work, and were at best co-opted as a political attack if not designed outright as one from the beginning. The numbers are no where near what they are claiming but it does exist and sucks. Either way they have gone crazy over it and no matter their motivations now the tyranny is in no way warranted from the actual results of the virus, and I don't trust their motivations one bit.

Severe Covid illness for healthy individuals, you know "plenty" of those?

Define "severe"

"severe" = so much worse than a bad case of the flu that we are willing to give up our freedoms and inflict suicide, depression, hunger, poverty, unemployment, isolation, and child abuse on the world to prevent it.

I would define severe as hospitalization. Are ya sick and went to doc? Went home? Had a few days down? Or did you go to the hospital for a stay?

Well. They tested positive. A couple...parents friends so mid 60sish...one thought he had a hangover...but then fever so...he was down for 3 days. Other couple, husband about 2 days of uck, wife in bed for 4...2 other people tested but thought they were going in for a sinus infection. But definitely NO DEATH. NO HOSPITALIZATIONS. Gonna guess if ya feel like shit enough to ask a doc for help, you'll be tested and POSITIVE.

I knew a couple that had it. In their late 60s, they said it was like a short lived cold.

Would you say, although that is unfortunate, that shutting down the globe exposing millions to hunger and poverty did anything for that person?

Supposedly my estranged (liberal) brother and his wife did. But he is a drama queen so I am not positive

The more liberal the more they want to have it. It enlists them in this global fight and makes them a victim, which is like hero status in liberal-land. We had a few politicians in MA say they "thought they had it but didn't want to get tested so they wouldn't take a test from someone who needed it".

After 9 months, a few. At least we're told it's covid, but all recovered and it wasn't that big a deal. Actually they all got the flu last winter, and the flu knocked them out harder than covid.

Me, my whole family and in-laws have never had it.
