Canceling foreign debt is a bulwark against austerity while fundamentally restructuring the domestic economy, but that money absolutely should not be handed back to citizens in some trickle down scheme. That’s effectively a uniparty talking point except they were accomplishing it by controlling various commodities (specifically petroleum and heroine) production through our military.
