A natural phenomenon in the fate of civilizations.
While, it's true that the Bolsheviks were able to emulate similar circumstances to bring down the Russians or that Communists have a history of doing similar things such as Weimar Republic, or was that the Jews or are both the same? In any case, I think these are more or less just opportunists that saw the weaknesses of certain societies and poked away at them in order to gain power for themselves. In a lot of ways what we're witnesses is the take-down of Christianity and the power and dominance it has had on civilization for the past 500 years, with the protestants beginning the first real move against the Church. Men like Nietzsche and those in the enlightenment set the philosophical stage to bring down the objective morality of the Church and then men like Marx theorized an entire system that was weaponized specifically to bring down societies based on the natural order through Marxism.
But these people weren't inventive or innovative nor were they all connected through a grand conspiracy. The only thing that truly connected them is that they are natural reactions to dominant power structures and their tools to sabotage these structures are the same that have always been used. The bible is proof enough that these things have always existed. The ancient Greek ridiculed the values that today we know as communism (the term never existed back then but the values and belief sure did). In history, strong societies would have routed out the degradation and corruption to ensure strength but our complacency derived from our wealth and power allowed the corruption to foster. Everything intertwines such as the role of women, the push for effeminate men and lack of masculinity, the reduction of cultural values, immigration, leaders selling the nation to foreigners. This has all occurred before in the same patterns and it is the natural process by which any dominant civilization falls. We're in the beginning of the end of our civilization's dominance and will be replaced by a more dominant culture.
Corrective action can be taken but it usually fails because let's face it, you and I see the problem but we're both too much of a coward to grab our guns and start shooting people. We're waiting for someone else to do it for us but that won't happen.
I've never once seen a single person under 25 actually get offended by this. It's mostly people who never grew up and feel the need to compensate by "making gaming more sophisticated" so they don't feel embarrassed bringing it up as a topic to others.
