Oligarchy is a good term to use. However, it only describes a few aspects of the relationship between individuals in a particular (namely economic) hierarchical structure.
We have many equally valid terms to describe our opponents depending on the context and level of interpretation.
The list goes on. There are probably more ways to describe the bad things than the good things. As long as we agree that we oppose these things it's probably better not to get caught up in semantics. Our strength is that the "right" tends to be more unified and stable, compared to the "left" who gets caught up in stupid debates over terminology and end up fragmenting and eating each-other.
An oligarchy wouldn't be an inherently bad thing. It's almost always bad by virtue of the people in charge, how they came to power, and the fact that humans are corrupt.
Anarcho-tyranny isn't the same thing and is terrible by definition. It can be promoted via any other form of government.
When this kind of info is flat out ignored, the only thing a reasonable American can do is plan for survival. Your vote is meaningless.

The ATF gives machine guns to the drug cartels but will prosecute you as a felon for having the wrong kind of brace on your pistol.
