People say that, but it's not true. Hi points are probably going to go bang, and very well might be just as reliable as your favorite. They're not really known for not running well. They're known for having horrible balance, rough fit and finish, and having an unconditional lifetime (of the firearm) guarantee.

I have a gun that everybody hates, but it works just fine for me. You never know.
