I hate Tom Cruise more than any other person on the planet. From the moment I saw him in Risky Business the day it was released to now, my instant hatred has not abated. While all my female friends at the time were wetting their panties over him - I was dreaming up scenarios in which I could honeypot him and punch him in his smug face.
Not really, what he said was not really pro-covid it was
"Hey, if we don't play by their rules they won't let us work and a lot of people will lose their work so let's work"
Not too smart, but still, he didn't go "YOU'RE AN IDIOT FOR NOT BELIEIVNG IN COVID" it was "You should do the rules so they won't fine us and you can make some money"
here's where tiny Tom went wrong, he treated his employees like shit. Only an asshole of a boss would talk to his employees like that. Simply telling them to stand apart, politely would have had the same effect. There was no need for a three minute rant claiming he's the literally the savior of the entire entertainment industry, and other unhinged nonsense.
Just because a business "offers employment" for "thousands", doesn't give them carte blanche to abuse them with draconian regulations. China also employs "thousands" ...in illegal sweatshops and prison camps.
He's a little bitch. In both ways. He has a house in a suburb north of Dallas, and I would see him from time to time while I was in high school. Dude drove like an absolute ass, as if we were on HIS roads. You would hear from people that when he would come into their businesses, he would always talk down to the employees, tipped 10% at restaurants, and would get really worked up at just about anything. Imagine the little dog that hung out with Spike the bulldog in Looney Tunes. Just a shit human.
Ask yourself when the last time the top of your head(or even your eyes) were below the top of a factory spec SUV, when you even have one foot on the curb.
If you listen to what he says in the rant, he actually comes across as angry at the Covid restrictions. He complains about people losing their houses due to being out of work from the lockdowns.
He was angry at some of his crew members for breaking the rules because he was afraid they would get the production shut down. He never once said anything that made it sound like he was scared anyone would actually get sick.
Devil’s advocate. Maybe he doesn’t give a shit about COVID. He could just be afraid that whatever country he’s filming in will shut down the filming of his movie if people aren’t following the local “laws.” At least that’s how it sounded to me.
Instead of bitching at the little people- the production company employees that are being subjugated relentlessly with covid restrictions or face unemployment- why not use that faggot-actor influence to target the HIGHER UPS that are actually enforcing these bullshit rules??? How about growing some REAL MAN BALLS and defending the underlings that are the ones suffering????
if some is the boss, then within reason, they can make any rules about what employees wear (even stupid ones). Telling someone to wear a mask is stupid but so it wearing a Mickey Mouse costume, but if thats what the job requires (for example you work at DisneyLand) then you just do it.
So little Napoleon Tom Cruise making people wear masks or social distance is fine. Every one who signed up knew the deal, and they are getting paid.
But here's where he went wrong, he treated his employees like shit. Only an asshole of a boss would talk to his employees like that. Also, there's one other person who did the wrong thing. Any person that allows another person to talk to them that disrespectfully needs to man up. Something as simple as "you are not allowed to talk to me like that" would suffice. That gives Tom the opportunity to stop, and ideally even apologize (not likely, but its your duty as a man to not just passively allow others to be abusive towards you). Or more likely tiny Tom could fire you, but you'd leave with your dignity intact. The scared employee who wouldnt stand up to the egomaniacal bully isnt as bad as the bully himself, but never forget... no one can abuse you without your consent and acquiescence.
TLDR version is Tom is an asshole for unnecessarily treating his subordinate employees like shit.

hey, give him a break, its stressful being gay but not ever being able to tell anyone.

Covidiot, yes. Midget? I hope not. I’m 5’7” too. Do you get a hall pass for being short if you’re based?
The 5'7" is very questionable.
nothing wrong with being short
as a tall guy, i see lots of short guys worrried about it.
but honestly... no one else really gives as much of a shit about as you all do.
long way of saying, you get a pass, doubly so if your based.
my problem with Tom isnt that hes short, its that he treats his subordinate employees terribly, what an ass!
What a little bitch

It was all a show because of the anti hollywood backlash last week after that lady showed they werent following the same rules as small businesses.
Everything in hollywood is fake.
exactly. also, if i broke a rule at work, my boss would just tell me what I did, and ask me not to do it again, and I'd agree.
no need for all that drama and yelling and disrespect.
if a boss EVER talked to me that disrespectfully, I'd quit, on the spot.
WOW! Thats a big bitch, or Cruise is super tiny?

Quit being a dickhead. Suburban is 6ft 2in tall.
Tom is not in the closet.
oh he hates it when people are taller than him...
Which is crazy because he hates the same percentage of people as the COVID survival rate.
Who's the woman with him? Bright eyes, long legs.
It looks like an old picture of him and his ex-wife Katie Holmes.
Just a Scientology shill girlfriend. Apparently he holds auditions.

looks like john travolta in the Scientology 'thriller' "Battlefield Earth".....
You should just “gift” him a fish.
Who is that big pie with him?
Is that shopped? Knew he was short, but can he really not see over a factory spec SUV?
Your eyes are at 6ft 3inches?
Is that photoshopped, or is he really that tiny?
His face is at about her crotch level. Which I guess suits him just fine...
He really is short. Too lazy to look it up. But something like 5'4-5'6 or something like that.

ScIeNtOlOgY MaKeS mE big!
Is it truly all about "The Law of The Seas"?
I heard Cruise lives on a slave ship filled with little boys just like Hubbard did.
I like the term MANLET when describing small men.
Scientolotard.
