Yeah, maybe. Maybe it would just give them justification for whatever they want to do to us.

So if you want to go do something stupid and possibly counterproductive while we're still on a timetable that does not make it necessary, that would be on you. Me? I'm going to keep on top of goings on, and follow the steps laid out by our founders. If General Washington had shit his britches, ran out, and tried to lynch Governor Boutetort at the first implementation of the Stamp Act, he may have gotten his ass hanged for treason, or at the very least fucked the series of events that led to a successful revolution.

But you're not going to do anything other than LARP, anyway. Even if it does come down to it. Nobody serious about anything ever sat around screaming about how serious they were. They kept quiet until it was time to do shit, and then they did shit.

It's better to die on your feet than on your knees. When will it be "necessary" to act? Sometime after Joe has control of the military? After he says he's taking your guns? When the sheriff shows up to take them? After you handed them over?

When, exactly, are you going to do something?

As I'm pretty sure I just got done saying, when we've followed the steps laid out by our Founders. Has the fraud been viewed and dismissed by all the courts? Has the President instituted Martial Law and the Military refused to follow that order? Have all legal recourses failed us? If you're armchair general-ing from the future, and for you this is all true, then by all means, head out and do what needs to be done.

For those of us living in the PRESENT, and not waving our Internet Dicks around to look like a Badass, we are going to take steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and then 6. In that order. We're not gonna hear the President say "Three," and then yell "FORTY EIGHT!!!!" and try to lynch people in the streets.

It's people like you that will be sitting defenseless alone when the mob comes to your house and be really angry no one did anything to stop them.

And its people like you who will feel SUPER satisfied that they went out and "did something" based on reactionary emotion and got themselves killed or put in jail, and then a week or two later, when all constitutional processes have been followed, either the problem is remedied or we all take that final measure described by our founders.

You seem unable to see anything between "go do something right now," and "Do nothing at all ever."

That's fine. You do you, man. I'm going to follow the Constitution and the Declaration's ideals and measures.
