The result is however contested and at the point with the greatest impetus to try to hack it. People start hacking, doing things like trying to interfere with any effort to legally challenge the result that they want, protecting their result.
So now the report is still being compiled. Though personally I would start a new report though it might not be optimal. The window is still open right now for foreign actors to interfere in the election.
Attacks can go either way. Someone against Trump can try to hack to appear to be trying to uncover evidence of fraud (more likely plant it in a false flag) to then try to make it look like it's for Trump. This is how hostile actors work. It is often very hard to determine true motive and intent.
