I don't know. There are few cases when I cannot tell if someone is a transgender or not just by the looks (but almost certainly by the voice), but in most cases, I can for some reason. As soon as I saw the picture, I wondered if this person is a transgender, and searched Google.

PS: Is "openly" necessary? I don't think they can hide it, unlike homosexuality. I don't know if they have a delusion that they actually look/sound like the gender they want, but people can figure out transgender in a matter of seconds, in most cases.
