Maybe. The problem is that we no longer have the luxury of time on our side here. We’ve been moving all our eggs into fewer and fewer baskets with each “it’s happening!!” event only for it to go nowhere, so we reshuffle once again. I suspect it’s part of the reason some republicans are beginning to distance themselves from POTUS, they might be wondering their fate if no action ever takes place. In fact, the very mood on this site is beginning to inch away from optimism and towards sheer frustration. It’s not just “doomer” talk either. People only have so deep an emotional reservoir with which to amp up on their own without some type of actual “fueling” event to take place to recharge the optimism. POTUS Tweets are not enough anymore to overcome the daily draining anticipation/disappointment cycle.

The idea that the swamp/corruption/betrayal/coward, traitor/good vs. evil event will come down to one epic battle scene with explosions and music is probably more Hollywood than reality. POTUS has every tool at his disposal to act; the will/votes of the people (and not just this country, probably the world), the executive order, evidence to support his actions, resources to make whatever he chooses to do happen....the only thing missing is, well, action. And it’s demoralizing the troops.
