So overwhelming the DNI with information that they almost absolutely positively already have as CodeMonkeyZ was asking us to do yesterday would have been a bad thing? Who would have guessed? Who would have guessed?

I could imagine three possibilities:

  1. Ron's a self-interested LARP, and it was just something to make him look and feel involved and important.

  2. Ron's real, but either got some bad info or misinterpreted info and acted on it rashly.

  3. Ron's real and the point was to accomplish something other than stated on surface level. Perhaps some kind of show of force in the information war. Or a testing of the water to try to gauge how many people are aware of what level of shenanigans.

Those are the three possibilities that jump to mind, I'm sure there's more.
