Jury's still out for me on Musk. His brain chip and UBI bulllshit makes me distrust him a bit but he seems to be coming around a lot lately calling out gates and the virus so maybe he is starting to get it...
Just because he doesn't bucket into "conservative" conveniently doesn't mean he's not on our side, nor does it mean he's not trustworthy. Lots of Trump supporters don't tick all the RINO boxes.
UBI and Negative income tax were once proposed as a sugar pill replacement for existing entitlements (back when there was a lot of FDR and LBJ socialism in place to kill wealth with double digit inflation) until the snakes inside the Beltway twisted it into an addition.
As a replacement, either scheme would be far less spending and far less of a bureaucratic nightmare than what is currently in place. But good luck finding 51 concurrent senators who wanna be taken out of context as "the guy who killed Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid".
This is the vital context missing when you see some 20th century libertarian economists were in favor of it and some dumbass commie tries to confuse you with a quote from one.
Oh I see what your saying. Thet could appease people with a couple thousand a month instead of whatever bloated bs we are spending on those same entitlements currently?

I'm getting chipped in. If you know about tech, and what you're getting into, it's completely safe. People said the same about computers.
