I was just forced into retirement at 62 due to a run in with my employer for not wearing a mask at work at a large defense contractor in AL. It seems I could run around without a mask and slide by since March, but once you declare you are not going to wear one, then the fireworks started. For me it's really not about the mask, its the start of resistance to all the things that are coming. I my discussions with sympathetic people talking big about the coming civil war, I tell them I can't count on them by my side if they can't even ditch the mask now out of fear. Also a weird thing I noticed was in the last month everyone seem to gravitate to wearing black masks. I think there is something behind that phenomena but would like people to chime in on that.

The mask is separating the wheat from chaff.

Once people start wearing the mask and "get use to it" it creates submission. Its a wall that is difficult to overcome.

The mask was never about a virus. It is about muzzling people figuratively and literally. The game will never end unless you stop playing the game.

There is a lawyer in AL who is taking a stand against Kay Ivys mask orders and he is in AL. Google "lawyer suing Kay Ivy over mask order" and you will find him. Consider talking to him.

There will come a day where they will pay for what they have done.

Congrats for standing for your freedom. I have never worn the mask and I never will...come what may. I will not submit to communism.

Exactly this, I hate having to submit.

Do not submit.

There's a reason prohibition failed, yet the full-auto assault weapon ban stuck.

RESISTANCE

A collective resistance is ungovernable.

Exactly, As much as I disagree with it and would be more then willing to disobey rules I don't believe in because it's not neccesaryily legal to force people to do this private businesses are a little bit different but at parks and shit I don't wear one and it's not legal to mandate masks in public but private businesses can 100% refuse to allow you into their store and plus as you mentioned some people don't live in their moms basement and have bills and people depending on them I just bought a property and don't necessarily have plans to move besides living in a blue state because it's really not bad and it's not a complete shit hole like alot of major democratic state or cities but to some degree it does have it's downsides sales and property tax are pretty damn high but I live in a really good area and federal taxes won't change and our state income tax is really good would probably on consider moving out of the country every where is basically the same plus we have legal cannabis which is sick.

ValkyrieHoneybadger 5 points ago +6 / -1

Well I face the same shit yet I refuse to wear it.

1
Dontdoxxxmeplease 1 point ago +5 / -4

More power to it if you can get away with it, Thankfully. I don't go places often so I am not submitting often but if I had nothing to loose I would be telling them to shove it up their ass.

10
ValkyrieHoneybadger 10 points ago +11 / -1

You have everything to lose by NOT telling them to shove it up their ass.

The longer you play the game, the longer the game goes on.

I am not disputing this but I have bills that need to be paid I don't live in my moms basement I can't get fired or get arrested for something fucking retarded like disturbing the peace.

Nothing to lose? Do you not understand that if we do nothing, we lose anyway?

Does your state have a "medical exemption"?

1
Dontdoxxxmeplease 1 point ago +1 / -0

I didn't think that was a real thing...?!

1
rosie 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know about your state, but it is in mine. Check the actual text of the order from your governor/county judge/mayor. In my state, no one is allowed (violation of HIPAA--federal law) to require explanation, documentation, or proof of your medical exemption. I'm RARELY asked to put on a mask now, and when they do, I simply smile sweetly and say, "Thanks, but I have a medical exemption." If for some reason they don't know their stuff and they ask for explanation (they haven't so far), I would simply smile sweetly again and say, "I'm not comfortable sharing my private medical information with strangers." If they REALLY push it, I'll pull out my phone and show them the relevant section of the governor's order stating that they're not allowed to require documentation or explanation. The less you draw attention to yourself (with other actions/clothing/words), the less likely people will even notice you're not wearing a mask, and even if they do, they will likely not say anything unless they're a Karen/Kevin.

For mine I think the meat is about average nothing crazy but it's an ethnic store so you get all the ethnic brands that walmart and a lot of the big stores don't carry I get corn tortillas 3 packets for like 1$ and 10lb bags of potatoes for like 1$ pounds of garlic and jalapeños .50-1$ a lb it is so cheap I feel like I am robbing them how much food I am getting.

Don’t submit. I live in So Cal, and I’m able to get groceries and live as normal a life as possible in this clown world.

1
Dontdoxxxmeplease 1 point ago +1 / -0

I wish I had the same luck. I walked into a store not long ago without one and didn't realize it at first and nobody said anything but was getting a ton of dirty looks so it was probably only a matter of time.

6
emancipation77 6 points ago +6 / -0

But nothing happened, did it? You got some dirty looks? Big deal? Keep your head up and stare down the little masked zombies. We are seriously screwed if people can’t even exercise the teeniest bit of civil disobedience.

1
Olds77 1 point ago +1 / -0

He probably didnt even get dirty looks. You have no idea when you can't see half a person's face.

The black mask takes away the cutsie fashion statement facade. It's not cute, it's serious subjugation.

3
Crlsniper 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m probably fine in about 80% of the places I go to and the ones I get attacked at usually are the more surprising ones. Usually now my biggest fights are with my parents if I ever end up going anywhere with them because they are too scared of the government, they truly think there’s a chance I’ll get tackled and throw in jail if I just walk in a place without one.

11

Meh. I had always planned to retire at 63, and that will happen in 2 weeks. I would have done it regardless of the election results or anything else as I really want to go live on the beach and fly fish. That said, being away from the day to day bullshit that goes on in this country will be a blessing and "The only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair."

3
KRosen333 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think you'll show up if we need you though. <3

7

I do believe some guys in 1920s Germany just said "dont worry it's just a star". I wonder how that turned out.....

2
You_Aint_Black 2 points ago +2 / -0

That didn’t start until the latter part of the thirties.

People in Alabama wear masks? Disappointed to hear that. Also, I'm sorry to hear about your forced retirement. Hopefully that didn't screw up your actual retirement plans.

4
cryptopede 4 points ago +5 / -1

I'm sorry that you are forced into retirement at 62. As for the black masks, personally believe people are going through the motions (at least where I live). Deep down people know it doesn't do much for them, they are just told to wear face coverings. Black "goes with everything" and it's less "scary" than medical masks. Also, medical grade masks or N95/P100 are expensive and since most people don't want to stand out with crazy designs or no mask at all, black it is.. I could be wrong and if there's something more nefarious going on, it wouldn't surprise me at this point.

5
SisterCovfefe 5 points ago +6 / -1

Agree with your take on the masks. If you go looking for cloth ones black is the neutral choice.

However I did read an article about people covering their masks with their hands in a ritualized way when encountering a mask free individual.

0
ChicagoMAGA 0 points ago +1 / -1

Black is not a neutral color.

2
SisterCovfefe 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is in terms of fashion and interior design

And when presented with masks with florescent colors, animal prints and sequins, it's definitely the choice that goes with everything.

0
ChicagoMAGA 0 points ago +1 / -1

Not in my fashion or interior design.

Shalomtoyou 2 points ago +4 / -2

My mask is only to ward off the Karens. I stopped wearing it at the supermarket and no one said anything. Work, I don't wear it in my office, but I'm supposed to wear it down the hall, etc. Some businesses enforce it, some don't. Some people are assholes about it, some aren't. The assholes need some comeuppance.

I never went for those flimsy POS masks. I wore a plague doctor mask for a few months. Got laughs and was irreverent, but was hard to see in. Then I found something I bought a couple winters ago.... a combination hat/muffler. Actually bought it before the pandemic because it was cold outside and that mask was for a different purpose: actually keeping my face warm. I use it now. I can wear it as a hat, and can pull the muffler down, if necessary, or keep it up if its not. And easier to breathe through.

I am a firefighter that was offered the vaccine “voluntarily”. I feel it is only a matter of time before they come around and make it mandatory.

I got 25 years so I will retire before I submit to the vaccine.

I'm in the same boat as you, I walked away from IBM because they went crazy with the social justice stuff after that black drug dipshit killed himself with drugs so I walked based on principal as I won't work for racists.

3
rmadrid1588 3 points ago +3 / -0

Black hides the mesh so people don't realize it's not actually a functional mask.

3
Trumpdidit 3 points ago +3 / -0

The black mask help's spread the virus, due to, everyone laying down the black mask to eat of conversate, then when point comes to retrieve them, they all look the same, and you hope the pone you picked is the one you wore. Prove me wrong.

2
Billybobcuccio 2 points ago +3 / -1

I try not to wear a mask , when I am forced To I wear my maga masks or Trump pence one.

1

"When i am forced to", at gunpoint? If you cannot stand against tyranny when it's easy, what will you be when fighting tyranny is difficult?

2

I'm curious: would a local militia group be interested in a former defense contractor?

His company is a defense contractor. Trust me, the title is very misleading and they are EXTREMELY cucked.

So ...just like a limousine liberal who has already made their money, an almost retiree comes in to lecture us on what we're doing wrong - even though we have to do it to keep our jobs.

I have to wear a mask at work. If not, I will get fired. Easily. I am 37 years old with a 3 year old at home. You old boomer fucks created this mess, and now complain that we're not cleaning it up for you?

I can't retire. Nowhere near. But you fucking old fucks always do this shit. "I got mine, so now I can preach" fuck you. We're still working in the mess your generation created.

2
Mellshone 2 points ago +2 / -0

You could collectively make an effort with likeminded co-workers to fight back against tyranny. Get your act together and stop saying and doing things that make you weak NOW while you are still permitted to make mistakes without loss of life or livelihood.
