Came to say this. I didn't even know the Internet existed until I was mostly through my stint in the US Air Force, and got to mess with it a bit. Didn't touch it again after that until college, then dorked with it a little once I could afford a computer.
Even then it was mostly fucking around on USENET over a SLIP connection to my school account. The entire school used a pair of shotgunned T1 lines (2.88 Mbps total), or roughly 1/12th the speed of my ghetto rural DSL line today.
I still have my, "Mr. Zippy" school lunchbox when it came out to advertise that new fangled address - ZIP CODE.
I am that old, grew up in the 60's & 70's. I still have my Napster collection too.
My first computer: a Macintosh Plus in 1984.
Same here... am about to turn 50.
I grew up in a zip code that no longer exists, 31317.

Gah! Usenet! feels old
Same here. Didn't have a cell phone until I was in my 30s. Never been on FB, cancelled my Twitter and only used YT occassionally.
I'd rather read a book or be outside that staring at a screen. Already do that for work.
Yessir. I went without much tv, or movies or video games by choice for most of my life. It's been a blessing.
20 years for me.
